I just called her. She can see the fire and they have bags packed in case they need to evacuate. No one has power. The grandkids were spending the night at their dad’s and they had to evacuate at 2AM. They said the fire was just yards away, so he may have lost his house.

I’m praying for them. I hope the dad didn’t lose his home.

If you know anyone in Ventura County, CA — specifically Santa Paula and east Ventura — who might not be awake at this hour, CALL THEM NOW. Fire dispatch radio is indicating that the fire is moving incredibly fast, grew from 500 to between 15000-20000 acres in 3 HOURS. #ThomasFire
