Shotgun only, I believe at one time it was but apparently not anymore. Or they just made up the "7mm high powered scoped rifle" part.

No they wouldn't do that.

I'm sure.

What’s the matter with those NY hunters. Isn’t this the second case of a NY hunter shooting something he wasn’t sure of. The last was an idiot shooting a deer with a pistol at 200 yards — and the deer was actually a woman who he killed.

When hunting trucks, you have to aim for the driver.

On a more serious note, and I'm going to credit Vaquero again, I came in a bit early and read this thread. 45 minutes or so before, near sundown, idiot neighbor who may not like hunting is out on his tractor hunting wood for his furnace. Tractor, one of those Korean ones, bright red like the truck. Used my binoculars and I could seem him moving around in dark clothing. Safer than jaywalking on dark streets in all black I suppose. But, though not relative to this thread, were it not for the red tractor and the noise, he was invisible at dusk. If you're in the woods, even on your own land, wear something bright.

I can remember that farmers painted “C O W” with spray paint on the sides of their cows during hunting season.

And as the story goes, a hunter shot the cow anyway. The farmer confronted the hunter, and the hunter said he thought it said "D E E R"
