Wherever I go, people ask me the same question: How can he? How can Kevin support President Trump? Why isnt he bothered by all the things others find appalling and frightening? Thanksgiving weekend is here, so its time for my Republican brother to share his bounteous harvest of thoughts: Every time I hear Neil Gorsuchs name, I smile. It has been a year since Donald Trump was elected, and his thrill-a-minute White House is still causing acid reflux for half the country and all of the mainstream media. There is always a lot of background noise buzzing around the president, and its catnip for his detractors. Full disclosure: I am not a Trump disciple. His manners offend me and the tweeting is overdone, but I do admire his resiliency against an unrelenting and unfair press. His tweeting is annoying, but it can be an effective defense. He has 43.2 million Twitter followers. The New York Times has 3.1 million subscribers. Trump got into office because of Congresss inability or unwillingness to do its job. The voters were so fed up, they turned to a reality TV star instead of the 20 politicians on the menu. (Or 20.5 if you want to count Martin OMalley.) Trump delivered on his promises to shake things up with a slew of executive orders undoing much of Barack Obamas burdensome regulations and, more important, started to reshape the lower courts decimated by Obamas appointments. The nomination of Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court may be his most lasting legacy.

Wow!
.
We might just end up with two parties again albeit complete polar opposites. Communists and Constitutionalists. Ought to be interesting.
Roy was targeted by Soros and the Post to be destroyed and damage Bannon's attempt to replace the GOPe with conservatives.
Roy is not at the center of true harassment hurricane, the left is.
You're always so wrong and so eternally dumped by Michael Douglas.
nope, not her, She posted her brother, Kevin’s thoughts.
“”Thanksgiving weekend is here, so its time for my Republican brother to share his bounteous harvest of thoughts:”””
Wow, some honestly here. Actually, it's probably only 95% of the mainstream media.
Right Kevin. I'm no so sure we should count Tim Kaine, Hillary's running mate, as a whole person, either.
Her brother wrote this.
She’s a good ol’ big ‘un - ain’t she?
Liberals are losers and they are realizing it.
Now let us celebrate with this epic performance by the great band the Continentals, yes you are allowed to get up and dance.....

Probably because he isn't a socialist parasite.
his thrill-a-minute White House is still causing acid reflux for half the country and all of the mainstream media.
That's because they ARE a bunch of baby-killers, faggots and other child-molesting perverts, union-thug bureaucRATs and worthless socialist parasites.
His manners offend me...
Hillary and Obama have been raking in hundred of millions, playing kissy-face with the terrorists, selling out our country, deliberately importing wetback criminals, and needlessly causing the deaths of innocent Americans....and you're "offended" by HIS manners?
the tweeting is overdone
Millions wait with bated breath to hear his next quip, insult or barrage of truth.
I do admire his resiliency against an unrelenting and unfair press. His tweeting is annoying, but it can be an effective defense.
It is his only defense against the slithering legions of RATagandists.
He has 43.2 million Twitter followers. The New York Times has 3.1 million subscribers.
And why do you suppose that is?
The voters were so fed up, they turned to a reality TV star instead of the 20 politicians on the menu.
Get it right. They turned to a common-sense talking, successful businessman, because they are sick to death of the lying do-nothing milquetoast "politicians".
Trump delivered on his promises to shake things up with a slew of executive orders undoing much of Barack Obamas burdensome regulations and, more important, started to reshape the lower courts decimated by Obamas appointments.
And thank God for that. (I suppose that's giving you "acid-reflux")
The nomination of Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court may be his most lasting legacy.
He will have many "lasting legacies", and they will likely be exactly like his campaign promises. He's already turned the economy around and it is setting historic records both on Wall Street and Main Street.
I agree. Me thinks Ms. Dowd lost a bet, and Kevin got to submit a column under her byline.
“The voters were so fed up, they turned to a reality TV star instead of the 20 politicians on the menu. (Or 20.5 if you want to count Martin OMalley.)”
And a pretty funny crack for a leftist. Perhaps there is some hope for this babe.
Yes, thats what she said. The Dem oldies but goldies (including pterodactyl Hillary) have eliminated the partys future.
BfL. Thanks!
Thanks for posting it again...I completely missed it yesterday! The general rule here, I think, is that it is ok to post multiple times, if they are at least 8 hours apart.
Good on Kevin for bringing some sanity to their Thanksgiving table.
Tasty liberal tears...
Yep. Agree. The wife LOL.
Maureen Down started writing about her brother Kevin before she ever thought Trump had a chance; she has to keep writing about him to be consistent. In addition, MD can blame her brother for the common sense things he, a Trump supporter, is saying!
