Appalling. I was hoping that only Democrats would be flushed out, but Barton is a Republican. He has essentially delegitimized his positions on some important issues. He should simply do the right thing and resign.

I think there needs to be a basic standard in judging all of this sex stuff: the accused should resign or be forced out if there’s clear and compelling evidence of his guilt; otherwise he should hang in there and only back down if there is such evidence. By that that standard, this disgusting pig should GO NOW.
