Let’s be honest, if they lowered taxes to 10% flat.... You’d still be griping because you lost deductions.......and have large state taxes
Race has nothing to do with it!
Id firmly live with what I pay today at state level if feds went flat 10% across the board. Then the voters who are LOCAL to the states they reside would have a much larger impact on how taxes are laid out at the local level.
I pray to God for a flat 10% at the fed level. If I had any complaints I know locally Id have more control vs. Washington control
Lol rates not race hahaha
I don’t want anybody moving because of an end to big-government-subsidizing SALT. That’s why I want to get rid of any rates above 25% and extend the 12% rate to all income subject to FICA.
If we drop the corporate and pass-through rates further to 15%, we can get rid of corporate SALT, too. Let Cuomo, Brown, Rauner and Hogan raise their money honestly, without federal (meaning, ultimately, OUR) help.
Another reason why I would lower the rates more. The current rate structures in the House and Senate are pathetic.
Amen to that. And the whole reason they wont lower them even more is because of all the socialist engineering weve allowed the feds to get away with. Program this, illegal alien that and on and on. The States have lost their power and I curse the states for that along with an ignorant population giving away its sovereignty to the feds
Another try at the link.

You kidding!? Im 100% for either a consumption tax, a flat tax of 10% with no deductions FOR ALL or total elimination of fed income tax and reinstituting tarrifs to raise money for the feds. That is how they originally raised money until the unconstitutional fed income tax was implemented. We live in a time that is not different when we were controlled by Great Britain. Our masters now live in Washington
Thanks for the ping and the comparison.
.
The good news is you can still use all of that local control you have and make your state lower its taxes so that you won’t be penalized by paying more than us morons living in Oklahoma.
Damn shame Oklahoma is that high....like Texas you wont find a more red state
My alimony is $2,300 per month. Every month, or go to jail.
SALT runs $10-$12k
If I lose SALT AND alimony deduction, I’m soooo screwed.
And considering that ALL Spousal Support of any kind is viewed the same by the IRS, I am not the only one in this great nation that is totally, and completely...er...screwed.
Ohio isnt bad but yes even its too high
They only don’t lie to you when they name a post office . ..only then.
That is true. But I like Melania better than than Mr. and Mrs. Bond Villian at Treasury.
