She was hilarious on Evening Shade.
9 episodes at the very beginning of 3’s company and then dropped from the cast.
No wonder I didn’t recognize her.
Damn thats a shame..was just watching some old episodes of Three’s Company today and she was in a few episodes(She always had the hots for Jack) RIP
Maybe the first cougar on TV.
Very lovely woman
What a weird Saturday it has been. Steel grey skies with a chilly breeze as I was blowing leaves and pulling pump from the koi pond only to learn that Malcolm Young of AC/DC has died. My coffee was horrible this morning and I had to spit it out but I did fry up some eggs in butter and put them on english muffins with muenster cheese so that was good. Then I had to take a delivery o firewood and stack it all up only to learn that David Cassidy is on his deathbed. David Cassidy! He looked so young in the Partridge Family but not so much anymore. Then I started hanging some Christmas lights while ham and baked beans were getting cooked only to find out that some lady from Three’s Company died at the age of 83. 83? That’s just crazy. I could imagine the Ropers being 83 but not some young girl. So all that is left for me this evening is to light up my fireplace and pour a glass of red wine. Maybe I will smoke a pipe. It’s been a crazy day.
She was a great character actress and could be seriously funny.
RIP.
Simpler times folks...
I can’t believe shows like Three’s Company, Peticoat Junction, Mayberry RFD, and Green Acres were hits back then.
They were cute shows with pretty decent humor.
It was situational comedy, and you didn’t have to have filth in each line of the show to get ratings.
We’ve come along way... /s
Sad - our daughter was only a little babe at three or four but she couldn’t wait to watch “Three’s-a-Company” each week - I also remember Ms. Wedgeworth in the great film “Bang the Drum Slowly”, playing the gold-digger trying to get the dying Robert De Niro character to sign his life insurance over to her - RIP....
Three’s Company and Evening Shade were funny shows without pushing any agendas. Wish someone would do shows like that now...
