Who deems an order illegal?

The Commander in Chief determines the legality of his orders before he issues them. That is why he is the Commander in Chief, and not the U.N. or some snowflake General or activist judge, thank God! : )

Which is why I wondered what the General was talking even about!!

What order would be illegal coming from CIC? It is his call, so is it even possible to have such a thing as an “illegal order**???”

**unless it somehow violated Consittution ??

The way it makes sense to me is:

If the CIC gives them an order, they MUST either follow it, or, if the general determines for himself that it is somehow “illegal”, then the general would need to resign.

In short, obey orders or resign.

IMO, anyway.
