Jeff Sessions is full of it and is stalling. The questions is why?
My guess is that the FBI is already investigating the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, along with a reliable US Attorney’s office. If so, the appointment of a special prosecutor would actually cause delay and disorganization because a new team of staff lawyers and investigators would have to be hired and get up to speed. Since longstanding DOJ policy is not to discuss or even confirm that an investigation is underway, Sessions is unable to say anything about the ongoing investigation as the reason that a special prosecutor is not needed.

Jeff is still a Congress critter. He is doing nothing because he has a few clsoe dem colleagues who have to cleanse their paper trails and remove evidence going back 20 years.
When Jeff’s buddies achieve a state of protection after destroying evidence,, then little Jeffy will become Thunder god and begin indictments.
