Sex Scandals: Who's Really to Blame?

After months of an incessant drumbeat of Trump-Russia collusion, big media is taking a break, having a new bone to chew, specifically the Judge Roy Moore story. Another of a string of famous men and past sex scandals ranging from boorish behavior to harassment and rape.

In past years, this type of behavior only warranted media coverage if a Republican was involved. Democrats were typically given a pass, the story downplayed, excuses made, the accusers challenged, and the story buried.

With Harvey Weinstein, this pattern changed. Harvey was a loyal Democrat, donating large sums of money to the party, holding fundraisers, supporting all the right causes from abortion to global warming.

The dominos continue to fall as we learn of many other sexual predators in Hollywood and the media. Not only Hollywood types, but members of Congress. As recently reported, $15 million was paid out to Congressional accusers after sexual harassment allegations. The same Congress that can’t figure out how to cut taxes can rely on taxpayers to fund hush money for their boorish behavior.

The common denominator for Weinstein, Richard Dreyfus, George Takei, Kevin Spacey, Mark Halperin, and Louis CK is that all are Democrats. Maybe not in party registration, but in philosophy and their anti-Trump, anti-conservative views, supporting all of the proper liberal causes.

Roy Moore is the exception, although in fairness to my premise, he was a Democrat at the time of his alleged indiscretions. If he had remained a Democrat, I wonder if the Washington Post would have had any interest in the story, much less broken it wide open.

But why did the dam break with Weinstein? Why has news of the latest Democrat behaving badly supplanted CNN’s breathless coverage of the latest supposed evidence of Trump and Putin scheming to hack the 2016 election?

The Dem narrative only changed with Weinstein because he isn’t a politician, much less a politician involved in a critical race. If Moore were a Dem, they’d be covering for him with far more unanimity than conservatives are defending Moore.

That's preposterous, and therefore probably true. The idea of "toxic masculinity" - implicating all men as somehow tainted - is being taught on college campuses. In the Seattle area, virtually every major race was won by women in last week's election; in some cases, both candidates were women.

When Bill Clinton was at the height of the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal, Hollywood was by his side, offering donations for his legal fees, and one significant donor was a man who is now going through his own sex scandal—Harvey Weinstein.

Billionaire Harvey Weinstein raised $1,422,683 for federal candidates and political entities between 1990-2016. That’s small potatoes for his 27 years of rank Democratism, sucking up to feminism and upholding so-called abortion rights as he rampaged and assaulted young women. Adds up to about $5300 a year. Something tells me there are a lot of cash payments off-the-record being paid. (hat tip outpostinmass2)

Crunching the numbers as outpost did does give us a sharper look at the political money game as played by the conniving Clintons.

Harvey also gave a bundle to the nefarious tax-exempt Clinton Foundation and perhaps to offshoots of the Clintons tax-free entities.

Did Harvey's donations to the C/F go to "do-good projects"? Or did they make a circuitous route? Maybe landing back into the Clintons eternal political scams?

Put all the pieces of the puzzle together and you begin to see the outline of what is actually happening here.

1) For decades feminists have decried the patriarchal society. Men used to instinctively seek to protect women, holding them in high esteem and generally treating them like ladies. Under satanic influence, women turned this sentiment into something evil, that men (particularly emblematic of men of the 1950’s) really had their boots on the back of women’s necks and kept them oppressed.

2) There has been a war on football, in part as a result of it being viewed as a manly sport.

3) The leftists on campus have decried “toxic masculinity”.

4) Every TV commercial, program, and sitcom show men as an inferior dolt while a woman is always powerful and wise, able to physically do everything and anything a man can do.

There is a war on men. It is dividing our culture in half and nothing good is going to come of it.
