How did Harvey Weinstein actually get to be a top story?
I mean he IS a huge democrat donor. This is usually buried deep.
I heard it was possibly related to something he did in support of Israel that triggered a release of information in the NY Times. Supporting Israel is a big no no in the democrat party.
Was. After Hillary lost he quit donating to the DNC and the various Clinton Foundations. He instantly became the 'sacrificial lamb (or more accurately, wolf)'
Many factors as other posters have pointed out. But an additional factor is that his power was lessening. Stars on the rise get a pass. Guys who are getting too old to wield power or to be useful get thrown under the bus.
