I hope Trump campaigns for Moore. That would certainly stop the media’s coup in Alabama to put that Marxist in power in Alabama.

And Trump could simply campaign against the Democrat rather than explicitly endorsing Moore if he didnt like the risk/reward ratio of doing that.

Ignore the headline. What
he his press secretary actually said sounds extremely non-committal and perfunctory.
The President believes that these allegations are very troubling and should be taken seriously. He believes the people of Alabama should take the decision on who their next senator should be,
I don't see either breaking silence (unless he was inhabiting the body of Sarah Sanders) or support of Moore in there. He doesn't seem to want to get involved, which is a shame. He could rally support for Moore or maybe force him out, instead it appears he's doing nothing.

Ms Sanders added that Mr Trump approved of Republican funding being pulled from Mr Moores campaign and said there were no plans for the pair to campaign together. Asked whether Mr Trump still stood by his endorsement of Mr Moore, Ms Sanders said: This is a decision for the people of Alabama to make, not one for him to make.
So very very supportive, eh?

I think I’m the only person on the thread that actually read the actual statement (by Sanders, not Trump) instead of fixating on the inaccurate headline by the foreign paper.
