A TV host and sports broadcaster on Thursday accused Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) of kissing and groping her without her consent in 2006.
Leeann Tweeden accused Franken of groping her, without her consent, while she was asleep and provided a photo as evidence.

Imagine if it was Private Citizen Trump doing that ten years ago? Not the forced Kiss, just that picture.
The excuse that I was just joking around wouldn’t have been enough to let him seek Elected Office. He would have been crucified.
It would be a rare thing for a Dem to be tossed out of office for a sexual peccadillo.............
She should have chomped down on the offending appendage and bit it off.

It is certainly “conduct not in keeping with the best traditions of the Senate” or whatever they’re wanting to pin on Moore.
We’ve seen a blizzard of articles from the left the past few days very publicly washing their hands of Bill Clinton’s predations, apologizing for giving him a pass for so long, and at least going through the motions of showing that they’ve learned a lesson. (They blame the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, of course, for their inaction, but it’s a start.)
Now comes Al Franken and his accuser. Let’s see how long their new code of honor and responsibility lasts.

This will be on the 6 oclock news tonight, right? On all channels? 24/7? on CNN? They will interview the woman, right? women will come out and say that it’s very believable and that franken should resign, right?
No. They will paint it as a joke, nothing, not bad, and to go away and not talk about it again.
I did hear a radio news blurb that he doesn’t remember the woman, but “intended it to be funny” at the time.
I don't think we should accept a "one free feel-up" rule.
I just saw this on the local NBC affiliate’s noon newscast. They would have gotten it from either NBC or AP, so it’s on the top of the stack for tonight’s newscasts. This might have legs.
three problems for Al - 1) she's a young, woman journalist in a major media market 2) photo evidence 3) Several libs have already been taken down, the moment belongs to the women, even libs be damned

I despise Franken but at least he apologized and it is (as of now) one incident.
Moore should do the decent thing and drop out before he gets kicked out of his job for the third time (assuming he is still electable).
