It wouldn't be unprecedented. Didn't The National Felons League strip Georgia Frontiere of her Rams franchise for some reason?
Yeah, yeah, I know I could do an internet search but where's the fun in that?

today million honored VETS by shunning the National Felons League. It went very well .THERE IS ACTUALLY A THING IN THE CONSTITUTION IN THE 14TH AMENDMENT REQUIRING GDUE PROCESS BEFORE THE TAKING OF PROPERTY. the owners can go to hell.

NFL revenue has increased 50% under Goodell. He will remain as commissioner.

As a long-suffering Redskins fan, I never thought I’d take the side of Jerry Jones for any reason. Until now.

Great. Only guy who seems to want to save the league (after a temporary bout of kneeling insanity himself) theyre now trying to force his correct prescription is actually the problem they say. Morons.
NFL is stuck on stupid. Im never coming back. Ive replaced football with professional bull riding. Went to the PBR championship in Vegas the weekend before last. Was great to be among patriots and a whole lot of fun.

I dislike the Cowboys and Jerry Jones, but he is right about Goodell. He;s trashing the NFL.
Goodell works for Robert Kraft.
The owners aligned with Kraft will fight hard to keep his guy as commissioner. Teams like the sPatriots, the Ravens, the Steeler, and the Seahawks will fight hard for their guy.
Goodell is turning the NFL into professional wrestling.

Every twist and turn shows me something about how the NFL is managed, and the thinking of its crony, insider, elitist, tone deaf style.
Its not pretty.

One of the sections of the article allows the commissioner to essentially force the forfeiture of a team if the owner "has been or is guilty of conduct detrimental to the welfare of the league or professional football" and a $500,000 fine is deemed "not adequate or sufficient."
This is laughable. Jones is easily the most powerful owner in the NFL, he owns the richest franchise in the league and there are a number of other owners who support him - Mark Davis of the Raiders and Stan Kroenke of the Rams to name two, since he engineered their moves to new cities.
There may be a couple of buffoons in the league office feeding Florio this story at Goodell's behest, but if any one man can be said to be the NFL, it's Jones. It gives me no pleasure to say this about Jones, as I am a 49ers fan, but it's a fact. Forcing Jones out of the NFL is about as likely as forcing numbered jerseys out of the NFL.
But it's cute watching Goodell trying to play the malicious leak game like the big boys.

IMO, Jones is more powerful than the other 31 combined. He revolutionized the revenue potential marketing an nfl team. The rest followed. They really are this stupid.

On Sunday, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk cited a league source who said "multiple owners already have been discussing the possibility [of removing Jerry Jones as owner of the Dallas Cowboys], which flows from Article VIII of the NFL's Constitution and Bylaws."The NFL Civil War has escalated fast. Can an owner be removed without compensating him?
