IIRC Candidate Trump published a list of potential supreme court nominees during the campaign in an effort to covince additional conservatives to vote for him. He did many things that all added up to victory.

I wonder if any TV networks gave any of this air time. I wouldn’t know because I do not watch them. I used to watch just to see how they would/would not cover certain events, but it was too upsetting in its bias.

I am glad to hear this. What a great experience for members of these teams, first a championship and then a visit to the White House. Teams that do not attend because some members vote against it is very unfortunate for team members who would have liked to go.
