Just listened to his Hannity interview, he is done. Doubtful the 14 year olds story is true, but he beat around the bush about dating girls in their late teens as a 30 year old man. Something slimey about that.
I trust Alabama.
Bingo. Oh I see now Jarrett opposes Moore anyway regardless of the latest issue.
>> but he beat around the bush about dating girls in their late teens as a 30 year old man. Something slimey about that.<<
He did beat around the bush about dating the girls in their late teens, which was not the approach he should have taken. He should simply have admitted that he did so, and assert that, although some people might criticize it, 30 years ago in the South it was a fairly common practice, not unlawful, and even today it is not usually condemned. So, if he in fact did date these young women, I certainly wouldn’t characterize it as slimy.
Anywhere else and he'd be in trouble but in Alabama this will be a non-issue.
I don’t get why a man in his 30s is dating teenagers. Just saying.

I really don’t get the neo-puritans like you. What’s the problem with dating young firtle age women who are of legal age?
I dated a 35 year old guy when I was 19......in 1980. He was nice and we had fun. Shrug.
That the accounts appear to have been bought by Leftwing journalists, encouraging the suggested "victims' to fantasize Moore's intentions, for political motives 38 years before! the "discovery" of these new fantasies, makes anyone who embraces this smear, look to be quite slimey, indeed.
One other point, Southern culture has from the early settlements by Cavalier types, celebrated a chaste flirtation between the sexes --of all ages-- which is an integral part of a culture that has always been very, very protective of women.
Standing up against the Washington Post & "whipped cur" Republican lynching, is a long overdue blow for restoring elemental decency in American politics.
All of us now have a stake in Judge Moore's winning.
Late teens = 100% legal = No reason to quit or be sanctioned.
Hell, it's not even slimey.
