Moore's comments on Sean Hannity's radio show..."I don't know Ms. Corfman from anybody. I never talked to her, never had any contact with her. Allegations of sexual misconduct with her are completely false," Moore said.

Hannity sounds like an idiot when he goes on and on about how despicable it is for a 32 year old man to date a 17 or 18 year old WOMAN, They are not girls anymore! They are grown women! I was pushing 30 when I first got married and she was 18!, Since when has that been strange.
Exactly correct!
You are correct, put in some truth, and then add in the lie.
Bingo ,
Murdoch Globalist tv network operates that way .
Hannity is a big fraud .
When Murdoch say attack , Hannity right there snapping away .
Amoral huckster .
I always preferred girls my own age and I seem to remember the Freshman class looking kind of young when I was in Grad School.
On the other hand , lots of guys around thirty were always hitting on the teens
Back in the day, Southern Belles were 17 going on 29 and they never hit 30, even long after they were 40.
Guess you had to have been there to understand. If you were there , you get it.
If you were not there, well, you missed out.
Just finished watching Laura Ingram’s show. She says she had a number of callers to her radio show today who were from Alabama, and NONE of them had changed their mind about voting for Judge Moore.
“Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections. I believe Leigh Corfman...Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.”
Mitt Romney in 1994:
Romney ran against Senator Ted Kennedy.
Romney lost by a 20 point landslide.
During the entire campaign, Romney never mentioned Mary Jo Kopechne.
It isnt like he knew them Biblically.
That is REALLY good to hear, Vette. I do hope he wins.
“I dont get why a man in his 30s is dating teenagers. Just saying.”
I’m 70 so recall how things were 40 years ago. Feminism hadn’t reached peak yet so women weren’t told they must have a career. They dated older men, and parents encouraged them to make a “good match”, i.e., someone who could protect and take care of them. If that meant an older man, no big deal.
We can’t look through our 21st century prism and be too critical of what social mores were a half century ago. Things were much different then.
Oh nooooo. A man likes younger ladies. The horror! How abnormal! How weird! Oh nooooo!
Let us list all of the DC politicians who have had interest in dating younger women. May we start at the top of both parties. Hillary first.
Let us list all of the media personalities who like younger women.
Now, all children of parents whose age difference is/was more than 15 years must go abort themselves. I guess I’m done for. My daddy was 20 years older than my mother. The horror!
What a bunch of silly nitwits there are in the world.
No there was not a problem at all. In fact young ladies were encouraged to marry young and to marry a man that was already established in a career or business. Men were expected to have themselves established before marrying. That usually meant there was an age difference we might not be comfortable with now. Teen girls marrying men in their 30s was fairly common.
Another thing they encouraged/forced- if a young woman was "headstrong" and not showing the best behavior her parents would try to marry her off to a much older man, say a widower of 40s to 50s or even older! The idea was the older man would be wise and know how to handle her so there would be no scandals.
Actually makes sense to me, if you want to keep your young daughter on the right path getting her married off young before she does something foolish seems pretty smart using pure logic. Girls matured earlier than boys and both were far more mature than most are now. Marriages of people with some money/clout were pretty close to arranged marriages.
The old traditions did not die out for a long time, I would bet even now it would not be so unusual as we think.
The entire crew on THE FIVE liars were really going to town on Judge Moore (Greg Gutfield says we don’t have the luxury of time-a possibility of innocence or the real chance the allegations are true) not leaving it up to Bush’s gal Dana. Two days in a row then of course Shep going full bore. This gang up style media is a dead giveaway. BLARING in fact that its UniParty antics.
How many decades did it take for women to come forward about Harvey Weinstein? The more powerful and famous a man is, the less likely it is that a woman will accuse him-- she knows the risk that he can destroy her career and reputation.
My father was 32, and my mother was 16 when they married. Their first child wasn’t born until 4 years later. I was the last of four children, and am 70 now. If my father was alive today, they’d probably call him a pervert for courting a girl half his age.
Still not giving any of this stuff credence.
>Just listened to his Hannity interview, he is done. Doubtful the 14 year olds story is true, but he beat around the bush about dating girls in their late teens as a 30 year old man. Something slimey about that.
I really don’t get the neo-puritans like you. What’s the problem with dating young firtle age women who are of legal age?
I was in college 40 years ago and I know I spoke in front of several classes, sure can't remember which classes or what I talked about. I also dated people that I cannot remember their names now. Sometimes one person considers an occasion a date and the other does not think of it that way either. Maybe I have a bad memory, but after 40 years I do not expect people to remember everything because I don't. I have no idea what he did or might have done, after so many years of him being a prominent person I sure wonder why none of this has popped up before...that is what makes me suspicious. If I had an uncomfortable encounter with someone, if it was not important enough to speak out about it for 40 years I would not have ever brought it up.
I will say I mostly dated guys my age but while in college I did date a man for a while that was mid to late 30s, had his own business and was quite successful. I had known him since I was 15 but we did not date until I was over 18. The funny thing is later all the older ladies in the community asked me straight out why I didn't marry him. They felt I had blown a great opportunity!
Not the same, mainly due to timing. They could have come forward before the primary, but did not.
Moore is no Weinstein.
That is for real. And it is being said on social media, along with the reminder that whether or not he dated the girls he didn’t leave any of them to drown in his car.
