He is a judge and they waited this long to mention the “harrassment?” Bull poopy. He has been in the public eye for a long time.

How many decades did it take for women to come forward about Harvey Weinstein? The more powerful and famous a man is, the less likely it is that a woman will accuse him-- she knows the risk that he can destroy her career and reputation.

Not the same, mainly due to timing. They could have come forward before the primary, but did not.

Moore is no Weinstein.

Actually the issues with Harvey Weinstein were the worst kept secret ever. There were comedians using him in their routines, and TV shows that openly made fun of his behavior. I would guess in his case many of the women did not come forward because they had actually willingly traded sex for a career in Hollywood but now being a victim is popular so they now claim they were not agreeable. Weinstein using power in exchange for sex was sleazy for sure but he was in a position to ruin careers and lives of the women only because he had the say so in who was chosen for different roles.

I have heard nothing that claims Moore expected sex in exchange for anything and he was not in a job where the women depended on him for their career/fame. Comparing the two is really apples and oranges.
