The allegations against Roy Moore are disgusting and if you find yourself reluctant to say so because of your politics, then youre pretty gross, too.
The Leigh Corfman story, reported by the Washington Post, is about so much more than just some older guy having a relationship with some younger girl. That, of course, would be bad enough many girls havent even had their f***ing periods at age 14 but this is also about a man who abuses his power to prey on the powerless. Its about a respected district attorney finding a girl in a vulnerable position (waiting with her mother outside of a child-support hearing) and relishing in the opportunity to take advantage of it. Its a sick story that is all too common, and one that will continue to be common if we refuse to speak out against it.
I believe that Roy Moore was a predator with a penchant for teenage girls. No, not because Im some p***y-hat-wearing snowflake (as eloquent as that argument is) but because of logic. As my colleague David French notes, there are a lot of reasons to believe these allegations: There are multiple accusers. These women didnt come to the press seeking attention, they simply answered the questions when the press came to them. They have witnesses corroborating their stories. Finally, the woman with the most serious allegations, Leigh Corfman, voted for Donald Trump in 2016 making the political-hit-job storyline laughable at best.
If you think theres no way you know anyone personally who has been through something like this; youre wrong again, and its time for people on all political sides to recognize reality: These men are everywhere, so are their victims, and those victims arent talking points for your partisan-hack gotcha tweets. Theyre people.

Does Natty R print all these obscenities now?
I know this is a vulgar topic, but come on.
Kat Timpf is definitely an idiot and should start brushing her teeth with Lysol along with increasing her vocabulary.
If You Jump at the opportunity to Condemn someone because of Politics before the facts are know, Youre Disgusting
sounds like the eccentric ramblings of a scorn woman that hasn’t been laid in a long time.
Bill. Clinton.
That is all.
The accusations are gross, but are they true?
I take anything the Washington Post has to say absolutely untrustworthy.. particularly if it involves someone outside the elites.
The desperation stench out of DC by the elites on both sides of the aisle is foul indeed..... They spent 30 Million to take him out during the primary and failed... now ‘suddenly’ this pops up??? I say follow the money.....
And people from "National Review" giving them further oxygen is even more disgusting. Go to H3ll "National Review." We ask not for your counsel.
No pictures, no video, no audio = Didn’t Happen.
Made up bullshit to try and thwart the will of the people who want him in the Senate.
When this is proven false, people need to go to jail.
Not according to the NR's favorite GOPer sh¡t romney:
Whatta bout Predatory Gerbilists?
This is such a high value case for the establishment, there’s no telling how extensive their preparation was for these false allegations.
The conspirators here went to great lengths to make the story look real.
Righteously demanding that Judge Moore step down, based on events alleged to have occurred nearly four decades ago but never previously ventilated, pursued or even now substantiated, seems to be a currently acceptable species of virtue signaling. I dissent.
Wow, the stupid and bias is strong with this LSM scum.
One, National Review.
Two, "....my colleague, David French....".
Three, this woman just assumes Moore is guilty without any evidence presented.
Innuendo, unsubstantiated allegations almost 40 years ago without any proof offered, is called character assassination, not sexual abuse.
My mother was 14 years older than my dad....for all of the 55 years they were married. Was she some kind of predator or is this just a recent phenomenon?
Agreed, and if they could be proven to be true, I would condemn Moore for his actions.
But these allegations come at a time too convenient, and the outcry too consistent, for this to be coincidence. This has all the makings of a smear job, including the ramblings of this 'useful idiot' author.
I find the National Review disgusting.
If you use your reportorial power to influence national elections with innuendo and mis-reporting about events form 38 years ago, never tried in a court of law. The publication is disgusting.
Salem Witch trials all over again...
I think this is 100% Mitch McConnell.
