An alarming discovery coming out of City Schools. Project Baltimore analyzed 2017 state testing data and found one-third of High Schools in Baltimore, last year, had zero students proficient in math.

They mutes don’t need math. The system is only supposed to turn out low IQ sheep who pull the lever for D and will be nanny-state clients their whole lives

That’s part of the problem. The so-called New Math is a confusing mess. But a larger problem is classroom discipline. I’ll wager my last dollar that in each of those schools disruptive students are allowed to roam hallways and classrooms freely. Principals get rated - and promoted - based on things like reducing suspensions. So no one gets suspended.
It is next to impossible to teach math - or anything else - when two or three or five kids in your class are yelling at each other, or running around the room.
Great! It means there’s no racism in their schools!

This is the legacy of Lyndon Baines Johnson’s War on Poverty. It got Black women on welfare, made Black men useless for anything but insemination without marriage, trapped the resulting Black children in terrible government schools making them unfit to make a living after they drop out, and you have a race of people who are Democrat voters for 100 years, just as LBJ planned.
He did more damage to America than any foreign enemy in our history.
It’s because Math is so racist.
And people take these morons seriously when they demand statues be torn down and the anthem trashed.
The problem starts in the home.

I quit after 13 years because the kids were so out of control. Those were mainly white kids in a small conservative rural district. One can only imagine little thugs’ behaviors in inner city schools.

I spent a good part of my teaching career working in inner city schools. And in even my worst classes the majority of the kids were decent, and well-behaved. Most had attendance problems. But when they came to class, they were willing to take notes, and give it a try.
But each of those classes also had a few out-of-control, very disruptive thugs.
Those few thugs ruined it for everyone else. I couldn’t get them suspended, or removed from my class. So a good portion of class time was spent just trying to get them under control. And the big losers were the decent kids who were there to learn.
All they need is transport to food banks and how to print (no cursive) their names on applications for entitlements and vote democrat and they're good to go for the rest of their lives.
