A disciplinary panel has found a Baltimore police van driver not guilty on all administrative charges related to his transportation of Freddie Gray, the black man whose death in custody sparked riots in the city.
The three-member board said Tuesday that Officer Caesar Goodson did not violate any department policies the day Gray was fatally injured in police custody.
Goodson smiled, appearing relieved, after the not-guilty verdicts on all 21 counts were read. His lawyers hugged each other and patted themselves on the back with loud thumps.

Never even should have made it to trail. Sad state of affairs in that DA and Mayor’s office.
I hope they heard those thumps all the way to City Hall.

The weather in Baltimore this afternoon is total Barbara Mikulski. That is, flat out butt-ugly with temps in the high 30’s and steady drizzle. They ain’t comin’ out in dis weather. Stayin’ home and shootin’ smack, smokin’ crack and makin’ more democrats.
Exactly. They'd all already been cleared in criminal court. Two were acquitted I believe, and the DA dropped the charges on the remaining officers because she knew she couldn't win. Glad he got exonerated. That means that if any of the others face departmental charges, the future looks bright for them.
After losing in court repeatedly and dropping the remaining prosecutions, Mosby reassured her supporters that the cops still faced the departmental disciplinary process. It seems that that, too, is a loser for the anti-cop crowd.
