WASHINGTON ― You may have seen this photo of President Donald Trumps motorcade winding down a wooded road last week as a woman on a bicycle appeared to give it the bird.
The picture, snapped by a White House photographer traveling with the president as he left his golf course in Sterling, Va., went viral almost immediately. News outlets picked up the story when it appeared in a White House pool report. Late-night talk show hosts told jokes about the encounter and people on social media began hailing the unidentified woman as a she-ro, using the hashtag #Her2020.
The bicyclists name is Juli Briskman and her employer ― government contractor Akima LLC ― wasnt so happy about the photo. In fact, Akima fired her over it.

Fat, liberal and stupid is a hell of way to go through life. She is also an Ohio State alumnus and a rabid Buckeye fan. A doubly bad week for her with the 55-23 thrashing the Buckeyes got from Iowa. All too funny. She needs to watch or lightning or getting hit by a truck next.
I think it was the motorcade that got close to her and not the other way around.
I read down-thread that she posted this on FB and identified her employer so, I would leave it up to her employer as it should be.
Good rule of thumb no matter your political persuasion and non-work related passions if you have a FB or any other social media account that you use for personal purposes, do not identify your employer on your about page and do not post your posts as public but only share with trusted friends.
If you use a FB for work, have that account separate from your personal account and keep it strictly about business, keeping your personal opinions, political and religious to yourself. Same with LinkedIn, keep that strictly about networking for business and keeping business contacts.
Whenever you wear your employers company logo on any sort of apparel, a tee shirt, hat, jacket, polo shirt, even when wearing it outside of working hours and on your personal time, assume you will be held to the same sort of personal conduct standards as you would be subject to while at work.
While at work, avoid getting into heated discussions with co-workers over politics and religion, even if they started it. Just walk away. And I've certainly have had to bite my tongue on more than one occasion but it isn't worth it.
If you really want to continue the conversation and assert your POV, then invite the co-worker out for a beer after work. Keep it out of the workplace.
If shed followed that advice and got doxed and fired for her personal off work actions, then Id say it might have been wrong for her to lose her job over it, just as would be for a conservative to lose their job in a similar situation.
Barking up the wrong tree pal...
She didn’t just flip the bird, she also posted it in Facebook and it went viral. It’s the latter that got her fired and I don’t blame her employer.
“Shes lucky this isnt the America she likely believes it is. If it were, she would have been shot as the motorcade drove by or just been picked up, never to be seen again.”
Like if she had flipped off Putin’s motorcade?
So...how is that different from what Obama was doing most of the time?
I’m betting that the NFL players are more important in making money for their employer than this lady is.
...
True, but it seems the kneelers are among the worst players or the ones with the most legal trouble.
Evidently she’s a “Harvey Weinstein’s Person!”
So you are employed by a government contractor and you give the finger to the POTUS and then boast of it on Facebook....can you say stupid!!!!
Her next goal is Planned Parenthood.
Without the warnings, who knew?
Aside...all of the liberal leftist retards and the extreme far right loud mouths that wish to throw stones...and anyone in between, for that matter...the 1st Amendment does not protect you from living in a glass house.
Want to make your opinion known?
Better make damned sure your house can withstand the back lash.
Sucks to be her...and "fair" be damned.
But she got to do her little finger-flipping act and she got to brag about it.
This story and the outcome makes me happy.
I don't give a damn about the consequences she suffers for doing it, nor will I defend her from the backlash.
We all have choices to make in life...she chose poorly.
Liberals think everyone agrees with them. Evidently her employer is a Trumper!!!
Indeed, or Nicolas Maduro, Hollywood’s dream “President.”
But then the CFO of a biomedical company in Arizona got fired over the video he proudly posting of him berating the drive through clerk at a Chick-Fil-A.
A classic case of arrogant “don’t you know who I am” was that video.
It was just bizarre.
I’m guessing the 9th Circuit doesn’t have jurisdiction, or she’d be “unfired” by Wednesday.
Hope that’s the moral - wonder if their contract is up for renewal....
Yup. These people are unhinged.
