WASHINGTON Directly contradicting much of the Trump administrations position on climate change, 13 federal agencies unveiled an exhaustive scientific report on Friday that says humans are the dominant cause of the global temperature rise that has created the warmest period in the history of civilization.

The entrenched deep state has truly deep roots. This is probably the EPA self-preserving reaction to the ax that Trump is taking to them. Keep chopping!

/// “13 federal agencies” ///
Were these 13 agencies part of the 17 federal agencies that confirmed Russian interference with our elections? Oh, brother!

Can’t take seriously a report that lists every negative weather event as being caused by climate change. They list hurricanes, we didn’t have any for 13 years and we’ve always had then. Ditto forest fires in California. Bunch of nonsense.

You can DISREGARD this. It's a NY Times article.

scratchin my head...from the summary...
The global atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration has now passed 400 parts per million (ppm), a level that last occurred about 3 million years ago,
when both global average temperature and sea level were significantly higher than today.
so C02 can't be the cause of the supposed temp. rise ?

Just our exhaling CO2, no. But I'm open to human activity can harm the environment in many ways like huge asphalt parking lots, cutting down trees leaving more heat to radiate the soil. I'm not sure but I'm certain that the US has done a lot since Silent Spring to clean up the environment; I'm proud of our efforts and don't want to pay for what other countries are spewing into the air and mucking up with garbage in rivers, etc.

Oh, and I look at maps of N. Africa and am almost certain humans are causing the desert. Also, the holy land once had a lot of trees; Josephus account tells of the Romans cutting the last ones down to burn Jerusalem and the temple. Then Saudi, Iraq, those countries may have once been almost a paradise and more fertile. Just a little knowledge mixed with conjecture.

CO2 was at more than 800 ppm way back when- life survived just fine-
Man’s contribution of CO2 to the atmosphere = just 0.00136% of the atmosphere-
Can someone please explain how just 0.00136% of the atmosphere can trap enough heat to warm the globe? (hint- it’s impossible)
