In light of Anthony Rapp’s allegation that Kevin Spacey made sexual advances towards him when he was 14 years old, many are looking at Spacey in a totally new light. But while there are people that are shocked by this news, there’s also a chorus of “finallys” going around online.
The people that knew and gave a pass are no better than those that looked the other way from Jerry Sandusky’s activities.
He’s also brought McConaughey “out” many times.
I look for Spacey to be Polanski’s roommate soon. And don’t forget, if Hillary was president she would pardon him.
Hollywood should be renamed ‘Unholywood’’ as it is run by Unholy adults. Kids should not be within a million miles of it...
It is worth noting that James Woods has been frozen out of Hollywood for being an outspoken conservative. He has commented on this explicitly.

This very much supports Spktyr’s thesis for why no one has spoken up before now in these sexual harassment cases.

Exactly. He is a ‘name’ in Hollywood - perhaps not the biggest, but a ‘name’ nonetheless - and he will never get another part in a movie, TV show or on Broadway. The most he might get is voice acting in video games or animation, but that’s because the Hollywood empires/unions don’t have a stranglehold on those... yet.
That’s the power these Hollywood empires have. They can completely lock you out of showbiz to the point where you cannot earn a living doing it. This will also lock you out of anything related to showbiz. You won’t even be able to get a crew job. The Hollywood blacklists are real - only they’re not being used against Communists.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Hollywood types accused of this behavior get the same treatment as Sandusky and Joe Pa. Will people be as determined to find out the truth and seek justice?
You both are probably absolutely correct. It just sickens me that now they’re all running around on Twitter, in interviews and news stories saying we knew! We knew! They should just shut their mouths. They could have saved how many people this type of experience. It’s very sad when your jobs are worth more than the safety of a child.

It appears to be RC. I just know how I’d feel as a parent. I’d probably end up in jail because I’m not sure I could stop myself from exacting revenge on some of these loud mouths that are all too happy to tell us they knew all about it.
I think Seth McFarland has always known a lot of inside dirt, and nuggets like this from his show, have been ways of putting it out there under the clever guise of “what? it’s just a joke”.

It's like they believed that anybody who broke the "code of silence" would suffer serious consequences. Which brings up the question: "Who were the enforcers they were afraid of, and why are they no longer afraid?"
I sense Trump may have had a discrete hand in this. He knew what was going on in the entertainment industry.
