1 more season and then gone. It hasn’t been that good the last two seasons anyway. I doubt many will be upset by this news.

So, in Progressive-speak, Netflix is homophobic!

The show was hoping Hillary got elected ‘now it was her turn’.

They find out he’s gay and cancel the show. How homophobic of them? /sarc

AFAIK, season 7 was never green lit. The shooting for season 6 is ongoing as we speak. Season 6 will air in 2018. As far as I can tell Netflix hasn’t done a darn thing differently as a result of the news about Spacey.

They claim they made the decision that season six would be the final season a couple months ago.

We have also heard that Netflixs Spacey-starring film Gore about the acerbic author Gore Vidal may be on the chopping block now too.
Spacey should be like plutonium for anyone who was thinking of working with him, even for a business as corrupt and devoid of principles as the entertainment industry. The guy just admitted he might have sexually molested a 14 year old. His career should be over at this point.

I just want to see Frank, Claire and Doug arrested, tried and convicted of murder.

As allegations of unwanted sexual advances in 1986 by Kevin Spacey against then-14-year-old Anthony Rapp have emerged, Netflix today decided to pull the plug on the Spacey-starring House of Cards I've never seen the show, but it seems that if Spacey has been buggering little boys it plays to the realism of the cesspool in DC.

He needs to get assassinated in the first episode. He doesnt even have to appear on screen. Claire (Hillary) made the show, anyway. It needs to revolve around her.

I guess cancelling it immediately would be too inconvenient...

And yet, if you read other blogs, it is alleged that it was an “open secret” on the House of Cards set that he came on to the younger male actors and crew and pressured them for sex. The House of Cards execs knew about his behavior for years. They just didn’t do anything about it until the accusations started flying.

I’d had it with the show anyway. Won’t watch anymore of it.

Not a shocker - you could tell how much Spacey enjoyed filming the 3-way scene with his personal security man and Claire, not to mention the American Beauty scene with the neighbor.

I watched the first two seasons, and they were great (although not as fun as the original BBC series it copied). But after the homo threesome with Underwood, wife and driver, it really went off the rails and also got utterly predictable. I did not get through S03.
