President Donald Trump’s name does not appear one time in his former campaign manager Paul Manafort’s indictment records released Monday.
Manafort and his business associate, Rick Gates, were indicted in a federal court on 12 counts, including conspiracy to launder money, conspiracy against the United States, and making false and misleading statements.
The indictment related to the core of Mueller’s Russia probe, which began in May when the former FBI director was appointed special counsel, does not mention Trump’s name once. Mueller was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to investigate Russian interference in the U.S. election, as well as any related issues, including possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.
Manafort turned himself in to the FBI field office in Washington, D.C., Monday morning.
There are no allegations of collusion with Russian operatives in the indictment, which was issued by a Washington grand jury on Friday and unsealed after Manafort’s arrest.
Manafort, 68, joined the Trump campaign last March as an adviser for the Republican convention. In May, the longtime Republican consultant was promoted to campaign chairman. He resigned in August after reports about his consulting work in Ukraine emerged.
The two business associates are set to make their first appearances in front of U.S. District Magistrate Judge Deborah Robinson Monday afternoon, a law enforcement official told CNN.

Personally, I think this indictment is an effort to put the fear of God in Manafort in order for him to “spill the beans” on what he knows about the Trump-Russia collusion ( if there are any ). This, in exchange of course, for leniency in this particular unrelated indictment.

On what he knows or what he has to make up to satisfy his interrogators. The American Left has all th pieces in place to become the Khmer Rouge except to have the restraints taken off. God help us if they ever get real power again.

Reportedly, the problem is about Manafort’s dealing with Ukraine, a country whose government is, ironically, at odds with Russia.
And even if there was, as long as Trump didn’t conspire with Russia to commit illegal acts, there is no crime.
Look at Obama’s Campaign European Tour and all the pro-Obama comments that came from European leaders. That was open collusion.
The overseas donations to Obama websites was more covert collusion.
He'll fight this thing and take his medicine like a man, if convicted of anything, but not say a word about Trump.

That’s a typical approach.
What I want to know is how long is this going to continue. If this is all they have after tens of thousands of man hours, then put it to bed.
