Okay, true, a Putin-associated bank did pay Bill Clinton $500,000, twice his normal fee, for a speech. And, yeah, Russians funneled $145 million to the Clinton foundation. And, yes, Hillarys State Department and the Obama administration did approve the transfer of control of one-fifth of American uranium-mining capacity to Russia.
But so what? Nothing to see here: move along. That was the take of Jeffrey Toobin, CNNs chief legal analyst, this morning. Toobin dismissed the scandal as a non-story and a Fox News obsession.

CNN shamelessly tries to dismiss Uranium One scandal as a “non-story” and a “Fox New obsession.”
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
This guy is Brain Dead...
Try to imagine if Trump did this.
Jeff Tobin, CNN, non-story, blather noted.
I’d love to see him on Jeopardy. Wolf Blitzer’s appearance on the show was enlightening. Faux-intellect and teleprompters do not equal knowledge or intelligence.
Neither gray hair and glasses nor white hair and beards can do anything to raise those neurons to the point of room temperature.
CNN is fake news.
LOL: perfect!
Hah.
This time, CNN’s fake news is that the report is “fake news”.
Bottom of the bottom, that’s CNN.
Someone needs to knock into Toobin the fact that there’s no correlation between the level of CNN coverage for a story and the veracity of the story itself.
Just because you and your fellow propagandists at CNN averted your eyes doesn’t make this story a nothingburger, Jeffie.
Really, should we expect anything less??
With Obamas Approval, Russia Selling 130 Tons of Uranium to Iran
This is infuriating. The truth is finally out there and they wont even dignify it.
exactly. change the name and re-run the story. complete opposite reaction would be had.
Wolf Blitzer’s career was created in one moment: grabbing the leg of a sofa in a hotel room in Kuwait and holding the microphone to the window.
He has never been a particularly gifted nor intelligent reporter.
He is a reality star show: Famous for being famous.
Clinton mouthpiece comes out for Clinton.
The liberal media (which is virtually all of the MSM), like libtards everywhere, can be counted on to lie. If CNN says it, the louder and more often they say it the more certain you can be that just the opposite is the truth.
The life of the professional Clinton apologist must be exhausting. You must always be prepared at any time to explain away the next scandal, and there is always the next scandal. I wonder if this is what they saw themselves doing when they were kids thinking about what career they’d pursue.
They continue in their fairy tale.
