Gov. Jerry Brown Tells BBC: Trump ‘at War’ With America, I Will ‘Stabilize the Ship of State’

In a contentious interview with BBC radio, California Governor Jerry Brown has threatened to sue the Trump administration over climate change, while vowing to “stabilize the ship of state.”

“The president is working to delegitimize the very notion of climate change,” Brown told Jim Naughtie of the BBC in a program that aired Tuesday, while the position of California is to go “against the policies of President Trump.”

“I hope the rest of the world does their part in providing a forceful opposition,” he said.

“Trump has declared war on a majority of the American people under the guise of supporting his minority base and it’s very dangerous,” Brown said. “It’s very disruptive for America, and I’m going to do everything I can to stabilize the ship of state.”

The governor went on to say that the president uses the issue of global warming to “work” his constituency. “I think he sees this as a galvanizing rhetoric for his base,” he said.

The emperor has no clothes! Trump is the town crier of facts and truth but the majority of liberals like their fairy tale because it feels better. The climate is changing and always will. The race of Man is nothing but a single speck of sand on a mile long Miami beach. We aren’t important on a planetary level. Such ego and pride.

Sure you will, idiot - by pushing a 'high speed train' that no one wants or will ride - demanding businesses pay 5$/hour employees $15/hour therefore causing businesses to go under or cut back so much that customers are driven away - and yet again raising the gas tax to further burden the population, while you ride around in a limo paid for by taxpayers.

Good going, idiot governor, you've made what was once the greatest state in the nation a welfare and illegal alien 3rd world haven.

Hope the high speed rail hangs around your neck like an albatross.

I guess he means that a ship of state on the ocean floor is “stabilized.”

Just what I was thinking. Given the wretched financial condition of the state of California, Governor Moonbeam's ship will be upright on the bottom of the ocean. And the water will be really, really deep.

There are 30-50 million Illegal Aliens in the US, there are 5-10 million in California Alone. They have been encouraged to VOTE through Radio, TV and other publications in California for YEARS. I can Guarantee you that at least 1 Million Illegal Aliens voted in the last election just in California. So YES a Majority.

I hope so. We don't need any more people thinking they're more powerful than GOD-DD.

There is not a a single job that moonbeam has ever held that he was not sucking at the public teat, and most importantly that his being at the helm did not leave the people affected by his leadership in a worse off and financially screwed!

Moonbeam is the scariest hippie queer to ever exist in California, one given the power to fornicate the lives of every common, legal resident in the state, the only ones safe are the wealthy, politically connected and the elite.

We can thank God that Moonbeam was never able to con mainstream America in his attempts at the Presidency. Moonbeams hatred of industry and willingness to sacrifice the American workers and their families to the greater good of his Gaia worship would have been manifoldly worse than anything accomplished under the Obama misadministration.

There is only one appropriate response to Moonbeam

Jerry Brown has been a drug user for a long time. Try listening to this gut. He cannot string together a sentence.
Oh BTW he says “You’re a bunch of freeloaders” as he wants yet another tax increase to pay for this and that but really for fat pensions for the gov’t workers.

Brown’s “Ship of State” is awash in a sea of illegals and is using the rudder as a paddle.
