You won’t find much better patriots than “southerners”.
Meanwhile, notice that the only time libs are rah-rah “USA” could-do-no-wrong was for the American Civil War. Otherwise, they’re always saying how bad the US is/was. They hate the Confeds and love Lincoln. That’s not a good sign.

Agreed generally, though I don’t think Lincoln was a psycho. Just highly misled, and bit overzealous in using the gun to the head to “save the union”. Nice union, by force. But he still would’ve been much better at rejoining them than the vindictive Congress was (Thad Stevens, anyone?).
