President Trump called on the Department of Justice and FBI to reveal who paid opposition research firm Fusion GPS to produce the infamous anti-Trump dossier of research compiled last year by former British spy Christopher Steele.

“Officials behind the now discredited ‘Dossier’ plead the Fifth,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Saturday. “Justice Department and/or FBI should immediately release who paid for it.”

Trump was referring to Fusion co-founders’ Peter Fritsch and Thomas Catan pleading the Fifth during interviews with the House Intelligence Committee earlier this week.

The committee has recently ramped up its efforts to investigate the dossier. In addition to the subpoena for Fusion’s co-founders, the panel earlier this month subpoenaed Fusion’s bank, TD Bank, for records that would disclose the identities of its clients.

Why does he act like he’s not the boss of the fbi?

It looks like he's deliberately trying to drag the guilty culprits out onto the middle of the stage for the average American to see and understand.

Except, the Justice Department is not a constitutional offices. It was not created until 1870:

THE CONSTITUTION VERSUS THE EXECUTIVE-BRANCH DEPARTMENTS

There was the Office of the Attorney, but it was primarily viewed as an entity dedicated to negotiating treaties.

He does know. This is why the left is falling all over itself to brand him a racist.

This is how you think in liberal land.

There is an ethical basus fir a non-politicized DOJ.

Which is what everyone wanted under Holder.

And exactly what Bannon said we should have, twice.

For a best non-politicized DOJ, please see the checks and balances in the Constitution.

The president is CIC of the executive branch.

The president's powers are checked by presidential elections every four years and by the powers of Congress to impeach the president.

What we have right now is a politicized and unethical DOJ precisely because the DOJ has become unconstitutionally untethered from the executive branch.

Well that's your low level of understanding.

And you say that as if a Trump run DOJ would be corrupt similar to the way the Holder & Napolitano departments were.

And you say that as if the current untethered from the Constitution and from the president DOJ, isn't an extension of the Holder and Lynch DOJ.

What I do want is an honest CIC such as the newly elected Trump to use his constitutional authority to fully run the DOJ.

In a case where we do have a Holder or a Lynch DOJ, what I want is either an impeachment or a newly elected president to take control of the DOJ and DRAIN IT.

You on the other hand want to keep the current corrupt DOJ, with people like Rosenstein and McCabe, undrained.

Gotcha.

I’m saying I’m done.

You want Holder & Napolitano. Have at it.

Doesn't logically follow from anything that I said. I never thought you were that dumb, but there you are.
