What a lovely woman this Gold Star widow is. I can see why her husband cared for her. She seems to be as beautiful inside as she is outside.

I hate to criticize someone’s looks-——but she is one ugly woman.Seems to me its not exactly that she is ugly. Its that she looks so fake in that silly cowboy outfit. Its like the uncanny valley thing...she is trying so hard to look like what she isn't she just comes off as disturbing.
I am thinking if she would dress and groom in a reasonable way, although she would be nowhere close to pretty, she would at least be presentable.

This reminds me of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, where they'd show someone like Brak, go to Space Ghost saying something, and cut back to Brak for a reaction shot and his reaction hadn't changed! Something like this:
