A Democratic Socialist student group at an Iowa college appeared to make death threats on Twitter against capitalists and President Trump -- the latter message drawing the attention of the Secret Service.
“COMRADES: stay away from needle drugs! They only dope worth shooting is in the oval office [right now],” Iowa State University's Young Democratic Socialists of America chapter tweeted in September.
The Secret Service told Fox News it was “aware” of the comment.
This month, YDSA tweeted to encourage the hanging and extermination of all “capitalists." After the message drew complaints, Iowa State defended the group on Twitter, saying the tweet was protected speech, according to screen shots of the tweets taken by Campus Reform.
“The left has done a good job radicalizing juggalos, weebs, furries, but I will not rest until ‘hXc’ stands for hang+Xterminate capitalists,” the club wrote Oct. 4 in a since-deleted tweet.
“Juggalos,” “weebs,” and “furries” are slang for different types of fan groups, while “hXc” is a slang term that typically means “hardcore.”

The college thought this was fine protected speech from the kampus kommies. Now change the sentence to 'hanging and extermination of black capitalists' and see what these lefties make of it. Doubt their answer would be the same.

The college should immediately expel students for that kind of threat.

Most of my wife’s aunts and uncles and cousins and some of my friends went to school in Ames. Surprised to be hearing of this kind of stuff coming from there. Wait, it’s a college campus in 2017. I guess I’m not surprised.
If this is the Iowa State I attended back before the dinosaurs, this group has 3 members on a good day: one scrawy malcontent who fancies himself a revolutionary, one ugly chick with braided armpit hair who believes him, and a fat guy who comes in the hopes that someone will bring donuts.

Just one knucklehead. As far as universities go, ISU leans pretty right. Lot of ag students, lot of small town people. If you want to stay away from lefties on a campus, you could certainly do a lot worse.

Amazing lately how many yoots are throwing away their future security clearances. It’s going to be rough for them working at McDonalds the rest of their miserable lives. But maybe that’s the plan?

Pretty sure this organization is officially recognized and gets funds from ISU.
