President Donald Trump is an influential figure all over the 2018 Senate map. The problem for Republicans: He doesn't seem interested in using his power for the party's good.
From labeling a top Democratic target a "good woman" to tacitly approving of his former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon's aggressive courtship of Republicans to run in the primary against sitting senators, the Trump factor is proving problematic as midterm election season heats up.
Here's a look, more than a year out, at the 10 Senate seats most likely to switch parties in the November 2018 midterms:

And this is an off-year election when the president is a republican.
Not bad!
larry sabato (name?) was on Fox the other day saying the rats are in trouble in 2018...
Not that CNN would ever play with stats.
I hope Rick Scott runs against The Astronaut. I’m so sick and tired of Bill “Squinty” Nelson. And contrary the the writer’s snark, Scott did a good job during Irma.
Ds have many more seats up for grabs and 10 of them are districts that Trump carried. No wonder they’re soiling themselves.
So according to them it’s a net Pub pickup of 7 plus replacing Flake with Ward, which is really 8.
Best governor in the US of A.
Any hope we could make the Ambulatory Vegetable Bob Casey go away?
The 2016 elections are arguably not yet finished.
This is because patriots need to conserve their Trump momentum by not only making sure that there are plenty of state sovereignty-respecting, Trump supporting patriot candidates on the 2018 primary ballots, but also pink-slipping career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day 2018.
They're really soiling themselves over their weaker-than-weak fundraising and how little cash on hand they have. They have to defend 24 seats nationwide and don't have the money for the fight. November 2018 can't get here quick enough!
“Any hope we could make the Ambulatory Vegetable Bob Casey go away?”
Some. Depends on who ultimately runs against him. Also, the person running against him better not run away from Trump ... if they align themselves with Trump, they stand a chance at winning if 2016 was an indicator of PA’s future.
Casey is such a COMPLETE TOOL!!
I would love to see Lou Barletta trounce that ahole.
Casey sold out his father, his faith, and his common sense to become one of the democratic faithful.
He makes me want to puke!!
I’m NE PA born, and my Mom’s family was friends with the Bob Casey Sr.( a Dem, but a good man!!)
Go LOU!!! Go LOU!!!
Lou Barletta has said he’s going to run for Casey’s seat. Not only was he the first GOP House member to endorse Trump ... you could almost say he was the inspiration for Trump’s campaign.
“Lou Barletta has said hes going to run for Caseys seat. “
Has this been confirmed? :-) ... I had heard this, but I haven’t seen confirmation just yet. If he is running, then PA is certainly in play. PA Gov Wolf is a trainwreck ... that’s gonna hurt Casey. People in this state are getting completely sick and tired of the whole act.
