It’s Harvey Weinstein’s brother, Bob’s turn in the hot seat. The co-founder of The Weinstein Company has been slapped with sexual harassment allegations of his own, as Hollywood continues to real from bombshell after bombshell.
Variety reports:
Amanda Segel, an executive producer of “Mist,” said Weinstein repeatedly made romantic overtures to her and asked her to join him for private dinners. The harassment began in the summer of 2016 and continued on and off for about three months until Segel’s lawyer, David Fox of Myman Greenspan, informed TWC executives — including COO David Glasser — that she would leave the show if Bob Weinstein did not stop contacting her on personal matters.
“ ‘No’ should be enough,” Segel told Variety. “After ‘no,’ anybody who has asked you out should just move on. Bob kept referring to me that he wanted to have a friendship. He didn’t want a friendship. He wanted more than that. My hope is that ‘no’ is enough from now on.”
“Bob Weinstein had dinner with Ms. Segel in LA in June 2016. He denies any claims that he behaved inappropriately at or after the dinner. It is most unfortunate that any such claim has been made,” a representative for Bob Weinstein said in a statement to Variety.
Variety has more:
During the dinner, Weinstein asked Segel highly intimate questions and made romantic overtures to her, according to Segel. He wanted to know her age because he told her he didn’t want to date anyone younger than his daughter. He told Segel that he was staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel because his daughter was staying at his home in Los Angeles.

Here’s a chance to take down Hollywood.
Perhaps a Presidential Commission or Congressional Commission with hearings, testimony, for people to name names...hear the horror stores to take glow of hollywood, and maybe out the corruption.
I’m with you. Per the information in the article, the guy is guilty of nothing more than romantic pursuit, not sexual harassment.
The only thing they could have hoped for that would have been better had they been the sons of Saddam Hussein
Never let a crisis go to waste. That is so needed
Agree 100%. No harassment here, just a guy in full pursuit of the prize.
Definitely not.
I think these Hollywood guys are so arrogant, and so used to everybody kissing their behinds, that they don't even realize when they are harassing people.
Typical liberal- he has no reason to believe the laws he proposes for others should apply to himself.
“Heres a chance to take down Hollywood.

Remember...Only YOU can take down Hollywood.
Thank you. I find it difficult to read after such a blatant error.
He implied he could fire her, of she didn’t do what he said.
Per the law if you ask someone out get no for an answer, if you ask again you’re guilty of sexual harassment.
Movie moguls will only tap Japanese sex bots in the future and all movies will be virtual reality.
Waitress will get a lot prettier.
Football will go VR as well.
And the former NFL players will stand in unemployment lines.
Vu Phoung, a Vietnamese actress, quit the business after Weinstein wanted to show her how to do sex scenes. He said “Lots of stars have done it.” Good for her that she walked away.
I’m starting to believe EVERY starlet put out.
I don’t see the “sexual harassment” here.
He wanted to be friends with her?
But she ‘REALLY KNEW’ he wanted something more? Are we going to prosecute men now on women’s ESP?
If he did anything at all like his brother did, he should get the same treatment- but in reading this entire article I don’t see it.
I was a VICTIM of a false allegation once. When sexual harassment charges first became all the rage, I had a secretary accuse me of it when I started working at a new company. I had to go to a HR meeting and I said “No, I just told her she was very nice” and that I knew she was single and I wanted to ask her out to dinner.
(I had already found out there was no company policy against dating - back then there WERE such things...)
Then she found out I was interested in dating her and dropped her complaint. Then she told me it was OK if I wanted to ask her out but by then I was too shocked to even think about it... so I sad NO thanks.
SO SHE TRIED TO REINSTATE THE CHARGE against me.
Fortunately saner heads prevailed back then, and they told her no- and that SHE could actually be accused of harassing me now, since she had approached me for a date (which is exactly what she accused me of doing)
So... Here we are now.
A woman THINKS a man “really wants more” than friendship- do we give her a few million bucks?
That reely bugs me when people do not know the difference! OOPS!
I was accused because the woman thought I was going to fire her. My boss confronted me and I told him to stick it. A week later he asked me to come back and I told him to stick it deeper.
If you want to lambast Bob Weinstein, Im guessing he knew all about his brothers actions and did nothing about it until now. Thats what hes guilty of, not this IMO.
I agree.
I have a theory on all this and why it’s tolerated.
Hollywood is first and foremost a tool of the Oligarchs (deep state) for propaganda.
In order to break down an actress or even child (and aspiring male actor), they get them to do something that will have a huge impact on them down to their soul. Then, in order for them to maintain their status and career, they must tow the party line of liberalism.
It seems like the initial ‘initiation’ of sex with someone like Weinstein is just part of the process of becoming an actress and having a career.
So if my theory is correct, it’s not just a bad culture of abuse in Hollywood, it’s one that’s been set up that way to get the desired result of a liberal and nihilistic culture.
Harvey is probably behind the accusation. I am sure he had a dead man switch in place in case this ever happened to him and Bob was behind it.
