Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell responded to Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon’s decision to go to war against the Republican establishment in the upcoming Senate Republican primaries on Monday.

“You have to nominate people who can actually win because winners make policy and losers go home,” McConnell said when asked about Bannon by reporters at the White House.

The policy they want to preserve is the bipartisan policy of non -enforcement of law and borders that has lead to 30 million illegal aliens.

They invited them and do not want them sent home.

“Bannon got tired of it, and went somewhere he could openly trash McConnell’s role in it.”

I wouldn’t bet against Trump/Bannon on Bannon’s move being orchestrated by the two of them.

Bannon stated he planned on targeting McConnell, I can’t wait.

McConnell has been there since 1985! The same year Michael Jordan was Rookie of the Year!

Term limits NOW!!!

Neither would I.

He can be much more effective where he is now > IMO.

That’s incredibly rich coming from McConnell.

Exactly...I’m wise though so I can accept just the (R) in a place like New York and Cali maybe even MASS. They’ll vote with Dems often, fine but at least they’ll help with appointments etc. The alternative is Chuck Schumerand Pocahontas types but there is no excuse in solidly red states and even Purple states. Mitch’ numbers game only makes sense in reliably blue states

Exactly what policies and laws has McConnell and his GOP Senate
hacks made since the election?

What policies has McConnell implemented? Other than kissing obama's ass and giving him everything he wanted, and opposing President Trump at every turn?!

Yertle the Turtle needs to GO!

And the purpose of winning is to enact policy, not just to fill a seat.

Go all the way back to Ashcroft in Missouri in 1998. Lost to a dead man.

Dole. A dead man with a dead campaign. Dropped out of the Senante to run for president as a RINO against a young, energetic sexy rapist. And lost.

McCain. Lost to an imbecile with no experience.

And a host of other Repubbie Senate losers since 1996.

sounds like one of those automatic response one gives with a lot of bravado.

Truth is, Bannon didn’t lose. He might have been one of the architects behind Trump’s presidential win while the collective conventional wisdom in Washington establishment declared he had no chance.

McConnell is one of hairballs clogging the drain, oddly enough Sessions appears to be another.

Winning is winning. Those RINOs keep getting elected because the RINO voters like them. Until the RINO voters are persuaded otherwise the RINOs stay.
