Its getting orangey out there (no, not a reference to President Trump) what with the leaves falling and the abundance of pumpkins, and at your local university this means the enforcers of political correctness are out there to guard against improper Halloween costumes.

Better yet, let’s nix Halloween altogether. It is NOT a happy holiday.
So blackface with a sombrero is a no-go?
I can remember on a Halloween some years back, a teenage girl showed up at her high school in this locale dressed as a Playboy bunny (complete with the black pantyhose and bunny tail). The principal was not amused by her choice of costume and sent her home to change, lol.
I disagree. But we probably have different experiences of it.
So it’s ok for the College Fix (Yes, I know.. a right wing paper) to comment on Trump again ?
How insensitive. Me, I was fondly remembering when Presidential masks were in--that was when we were supposed to make fun of Republicans. I don't think my idea of wearing a gorilla suit combined with a Michelle Obama mask would be well received in my liberal neighborhood.

And I expect that will be triggering b/c it's white...
Sombrero, old lawn mover, ragged clothes...I’m ready.
Halloween is fun. The eve of all hallows Is the day before All Saints Day. Like Mardi Gras falling the day before Ash Wednesday
Little girls can go out as Parkinson’s Disease patients who turn stiff as a board when the homeowner opens the door!
Cat or mouse in a leotard costume isnt much different but doesnt have the porn connotation
TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!.....................
You’re right!!! Don’t celebrate the pagan, anti-Christian bad-luck festival “Halloween”!!!!
Besides that, the REAL Bad Luck Day is November 4! And Antifa (wearing masks, of course) will be attempting to make it even worse this year!!!!
You can skip the lawnmower and substitute MS-13 tattoos on your neck.
I remember one college kid going to a party with white turtle neck, white jeans, white shoes, and white strip of cloth about 10 feet long tied to his ankle, and a red balaclava pulled down over his face...
He said he was going as a used tampon...
The Country has Gone MAD!
My daughter went as Harriet Tubman one year. About 15 years ago. I never thought anything of it. She admired Tubman and wanted to dress up as a historical figure. Why not?
Of course, today it would be seen as a example of hatred and cultural appropriation.
