My sister has a 2005 Jetta (five-cylinder) and the thing has been nickel-and-diming her for quite a while. I have a 2012 Jetta Sportwagen and it's been perfect. At 80,000 miles the brakes are still good. Not to mention, it runs like a bat out of hell-really!

She’s up to 180K on her car. Me, I’m stuck with a 1.8 Corolla from 07 (assembled in USA), but I’m up to 210K and no problems like she’s experienced.
