I lived in Santa Rosa for 5 years in the early 2000s.
Pleasant place to reside but ... the politics of the locals are horrid and they are very virulent on that subject.
I have been monitoring my 'friends' FaceBook pages.
Even on Monday am they were posting nasty anti-Trump material and comments. They're doing it full force right now Fri. even as the events are unfolding.
madness....

“Even on Monday am they were posting nasty anti-Trump material and comments.”

And then they will have the gall to demand Federal aid.

Can someone help me with this -

I’ve been looking at videos & drone footage of some neighborhoods hit by the fire.

1. How are the streets so bare and passable? Shouldn’t there be debris all over?

2. How can trees be standing (the whole tree, not just a burned trunk), some still with leaves or pine cones (hard to tell from the pics) surrounded by housing that is burned to the ground? Shouldn’t they have burned up completely as well?
