The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence Thursday night with five television interviews, including one on Fox News, Campos' union president said.
Except when the cameras were about to roll, and media gathered in the building to talk to him, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn't immediately clear where he was.

There is a lot of strange odor coming from this “investigation”. We will never know the truth.
What makes the most sense is that he's here illegally. That would explain why he is keeping a low profile, and why he didn't call the police or ambulance himself.
Perhaps the sting was directed towards an ISIS cell - like the one discovered in NYC about the same week? In which case, they would only need the few high powered weapons and explosives that Paddock offered. Since ISIS has been caught in a couple of these stings, they had a plan to turn the tables on the FBI should this arm deal be a set-up?
Or Campos escaped customers capture of weapons dealers and Paddock did not. Rest was done by customers?
I’m not saying that is what happened, but timing would fit new timeline.
If he is an illegal, that would affect a lot of liability for hotel.
None of this would reflect well on the alphabet agency involved (assuming it was like that).
Occams razor? We shall see.
Just too much weirdness about this whole business to think we're being told even a small portion of the truth of it.
He certainly would not be safe in Mexico.

Maybe in this case the definition of “bolted” is “snatched” — and in Witness Protection.
It was Paddock’s second home, in a Del Webb retirement community in Reno, that was burgled.
His other residence, about 89 miles from Las Vegas in Mesquite, Nev., is in another Del Webb retirement community.
The “official” explanations to the whole story smell fishy from the get go.
One aspect stands out...why did Paddock fly down to Phoenix the week prior, rent a car and drive back. Cops figured up the mileage when he turned in the car...roughly 300 miles more than what it takes to reach Vegas and the turn-in point. He picked up something in Phoenix...I’m just guessing but I would suspect he was there to retrieve weapons that he was storing there. The question would be...where was the storage unit or was it an associate holding the weapons?
Compared to last week...I’m of the mind now that Campos has some connection to Paddock. Maybe doing favors...maybe arranging things.
There is another possibility:
as you know on November 4th allegedly this is the date for the forthcoming antifa led US Revolution.
so maybe the hotel room presence of the 23 guns was some kind of pre-revolution gun distribution to like-minded people.
and the idea he had stalked two other hotels next to big concerts is an FBI lie intended to distract.
also he could have been an FBI informant acting in this arms role in order to collect info for the FBI about these especially action-minded antifa types.
But the argument mitigating against this Theory would obviously be:
“why in hell would they choose a casino for this gun distribution location since everyone knows casinos to be completely festooned with cameras..?!”
I mean I would understand the FBI’s motivation, but what AntiFa not yet high on LSD would choose to show up to a meeting described like that?
I mean at a casino..?

Witness protection seems to have begun the night of the shooting. Campos... no pictures and no apparent online footprint.
I watched the video of the missle going up to and hitting TWA800 on CNN. Then the video vanished just like the men seen walking with the OK City bomber before the blast.
