Hillary Clinton said in a CNN interview Wednesday that she was “sick” and “shocked” to learn of sexual misconduct allegations against Hollywood mogul and longtime Democratic donor Harvey Weinstein, adding she will give away his past contributions to her political campaigns to charity.
“I was appalled,” Clinton said of the accusations. “It was something that was just intolerable in every way. And, you know, like so many people who’ve come forward and spoken out, this was a different side of a person who I and many others had known in the past.”
Speaking to Fareed Zakaria as part of her current book tour, the former Democratic presidential nominee acknowledged she “probably would have” called Weinstein a friend prior to hearing about his alleged misconduct.
“People in Democratic politics for a couple of decades appreciated his help and support,” she said. “And I think these stories coming to light now — and people who never spoke out before having the courage to speak out — just clearly demonstrates that this behavior that he engaged in cannot be tolerated.”

She is NOT donating his contributions. Her cleverly worded response was not challenged. She said that she gives 10% of her income to charities every year, and that Weinstein money would be part of this. Assuming she’s telling the truth (and that’s a huge assumption), then she’s giving her normal 10% and whatever money he gave her is just saving her giving her own.
If she were giving his contributions away, she’d be taking the exact amount he gave her off the top and giving it away. Then she would figure 10% on her income and give that away as well. She lies as easily as she breathes.
I’m appalled - appalled! - to find that harrassment was going on in here.
She has a penchant for surrounding herself with dirtballs.
Surprised no one mentioned that her husband did much the same as Ol’ Harvey, but with interns instead of starlets...
But yeah... we’ll listen to moral lecturing and outrage from these assh*les... because they’re all, like, y’know, PARAGONS of virtue and stuff... sortakindalike...

The charity is her Clinton Foundation. What a bunch of dopes we are?
The interview I saw Hillary said that she donates 10% of her income every year to charity and that Weinstein’s donation to her would certainly be included in that total next year.
In other words, she won’t be donating more, just replacing her existing donation with what Weinstein gave her.
Plus, she said she couldn’t give the money back, because there’s nobody to give the money back to.
What the hell does that mean? They keep track of political donations, who donated, how much, who they are from. It would be easy to track down donations from Harvey, or any bundled donations from groups affiliated with Harvey, which ended up in Hillary’s campaign.
But this Fareed(sp?) dude is apparently not adept at asking a key follow up question, such as, what do you mean there’s nobody to give the money back to?
To me, the elephant in this cesspool is....
Why such an outrage when a Hollywood predator goes after young women, but it’s perfectly fine when you’re the governor of a state and then president? Powerful men harassing and attacking women....even Cosby has to answer. How does Slick get a pass?

I don’t recall ever seeing (nor the press asking) to see any proof when statements like these come up. It is PR-BS.
He’s got Hillary protecting and running cover for him...that’s all I can figure out....hopefully her cache’ will wear out soon.
So she gives 10 percent to charity and his donations will be going to charity. She did not say that his donations will not be coming out of the normal 10 percent she gives, so it appears that she’s not going to do anything out of the ordinary to give up his donations.
LOL. Yeah. Okay.
