I know Neil Young may not be popular with many here but, you may not know that Mr. Young has a special needs child, and Mr. Young has done some tremendous things, not just for his son, but to raise money for special needs children. A man with a heart that big can be forgiven for many things.

I saw him last year at Coachella............... Great show.

Heart of Gold - Neil Young

This song mentions my home town:

I've been to Hollywood
I've been to Lakewood

Well, that was how we sang it when I was 16.

I love many of Neil Young’s early work, so I can forgive him his present day righteousness about various topics. I still have Neil’s “After The Gold Rush” in CD.
I recall a song Neil wrote for his friend Nicollete Larson called “It’s Gonna Take A Lotta Love” from 1979. She had a big hit.

At least Neil can still get up there and perform. Unlike another very talented Canadian, the wonderful Joni Mitchell, one of the best popular music composers and performers of them all. Joni had a stroke about three years ago, and does not speak or sing publicly anymore. Similar to Linda Rondstadt (Parkinsons for Linda).

Lakewood, CA?

My Mom was born in Hollywood, and we spent all my school years in a home on Woodruff in Lakewood.
