Brad Pitt Threatened Harvey Weinstein With a ‘Missouri Whooping’ For Harassing His Past Love

Brad Pitt was one of the only men in Hollywood to confront Harvey Weinstein after hearing that Weinstein had allegedly made unwanted sexual advances toward his young love interest. It was back in the 1990s before Pitt blossomed into the major star he is today, revealed a source.

According to People Magazine, this source said Brad Pitt got wind of Weinstein allegedly sexually harassing Gwyneth Paltrow right around the time she was just hired by Weinstein for the lead role in Emma. She said Weinstein made unwanted sexual advances toward her in a hotel room. Paltrow was only 22 at the time.

Pitt was taking a chance as far as his career goes, suggests this source, as he wasn’t a big star at the time in Hollywood. He took that chance and history indicates it didn’t seem to hold him back.

Pitt went on to later work with Weinstein in the movie Inglourious Basterds, which was filmed in 2009. The source said it was Brad’s relationship with Quentin Tarantino that got him to do that part. It had nothing to do with Weinstein.

What exactly happened with Weinstein and Gwyneth isn’t detailed for the public, but it reportedly “ended with him placing his hands on her and suggesting a massage,” writes People.

The Daily Mail reports that Paltrow “rebuffed him and fled before Weinstein could do anything.” Then later she told Pitt about the encounter, setting the wheels in motion for his confrontation with Weinstein.

It was at a Hollywood party circa 1995 when Brad Pitt reportedly confronted Weinstein. The source said,

“ “He got right in his face, poked him in the chest and said, ‘You will not ever do this to Gwyneth ever again.'” ” The source went on to say that Brad told Weinstein if it ever happened again, there would be consequences, which was described by Pitt to Weinstein as “a Missouri whooping.” That is the state Pitt hails from, as he grew up in Springfield, Missouri.

The source claimed that at first Weinstein tried to come to his own defense, but Brad wasn’t stopping, so Weinstein stopped talking and listened to what the young actor had to say. Pitt made it very clear that it wasn’t to ever happen again, and the source said it didn’t.

This same source sang praises for Pitt as being “one of the only men in Hollywood who stood up and said something.” Then the source added, “That’s a fact.” While Weinstein got the message, he allegedly still called Gwyneth on the phone to lambaste her for telling Pitt.

She said Weinstein threatened her not to “speak to anyone else about it.” According to People Magazine, Paltrow told the New York Times in an interview that when he called her, “I thought he was going to fire me. He screamed at me for a long time. It was brutal.”

Much less Charles Bronsons, Lee Marvins or Steve McQueens.

" I'd actually believe it if the claim was Brad Pitt asked Weinstein if he wanted to get high.

I'm here to make the required correction: I'd actually believe it if the claim was, Brad Spitt asked Weinstein if he wanted to get higher up on Brad's rump!!!!!!!

“I wonder how much Weinstein paid the Obama’s to have his way with their daughter? And don’t anyone tell me that they didn’t know about all this beforehand. They DID!”

I missed that news. Could you provide a link?

Ah, OK, I see the illegitimate “daughter” interned for him.

Are we just assuming she serviced him as well because Michael and the Fraud obviously knew all about Harv?

I remember “the good ol’ days” (in my best John Wayne Shootist voice) when “Hollywood” got mad because Chinese theaters would be showing blockbuster hits within a day after they released in America.

To be fair, when John Wayne was in the business, the sort of stuff Weinstein did was rampant, and HE never came out about it, either. The only old time star I ever heard talk about it was Bette Davis, and that was years after her own experiences. In other words, with a few exceptions, like Corey Feldman, they ALL kept quiet, rather than risk their careers, they ALL knew it was routine, but “they loved the praises of men, more than God”.

Is it possible that Malaria told her gay muslim father about Harvey trying to make passes at her and that is when the NY Slimes was called in to end his career?

Grandfather was from Missouri - and handled mules when he was a boy.

Can only imagine what a “Missouri Whipping” is, LOL.

I didn’t know that. But, as an example, Hollywood has no use for him anymore. I imagine that’s what happens to those who speak out. Fortunately for him, he’s managed to make a living without Hollywood, but most of them would have to get a regular J O B, which would never do.

You know -— many here commented that Obama’s daughter looked so sad or upset going to work, and dressed so frumpy. IF I were being molested by my boss, and wasn’t strong enough to go to my parents and out this predator for fear of whatever repercussions there may be, I might try to dress as ugly and unflattering as possible in order to NOT interest him. Just a thought . . .

It also sounds like something someone from Missouri would say.

This sounds like something Hillary Clinton would say, therefore it’s only loosely based in reality, largely false and largely cooked up by people entirely too detached from people who might actually speak in a similar manner to ever actually try to speak idiomatically. Inability to use idiom convincingly is one way to spot a foreigner. These people are foreigners, maybe not legally but certainly socially they are.

I don't know if they realize it yet,

But

NOBODY associated with the industry comes out smelling like roses.

As Roger L Simon on PJMedia said "Harvey Weinstein has DESTROYED Hollywood".
