All these really strong women all other women are supposed to look up to, folded like a cheap lawn chair when abused by this guy.
“Hey look ladies, this is how you act strong. Emulate us!”
Now I’m not in the habit of criticizing women who are abused, but most women don’t set themselves up to be idolized by advocating for women to be strong, only to allow this sort of thing to be done to them without objecting.
A girl who graduated from my high school talked of becoming an actress. She was gorgeous.
I’ll never forget her saying “When I get out there, I just want someone to tell me who I need to &$^% to make it big. I’m ready.”
They are not victims unless they resist.
Yep. Rose McGowan is one example (I suspect there are more) of an actress who took up the "End the Rape Culture" cause, while doing nothing at all to stop a known predator like Weinstein.
I'm sure that she used that activism to convince herself that she was "in the fight", or something.
