Perhaps youve lost track of the Democrats slowly exploding IT scandal, as much of the media is doing all it can to simply ignore it away.
Im referring to the strange case of Imran Awan, the IT aide Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., kept on her congressional payroll even after it became known he and his wife, Hina Alvi Awan, were being investigated by the Capitol Police for possible theft, fraud, moving terabytes of data off Congresss system and more.
Imran Awan was back in court last week. When pushed, Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Mirando revealed some telling things about this case.
First, I should note that it was standing room only in the packed courtroom at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Friday morning ... okay, just kidding, actually, only a few reporters sat in the mostly empty wooden benches in the back of the courtroom. Anyone who didnt know this was the latest scene in a slowly exploding political scandal would have thought this was only a forgettable bank fraud case.
Awans attorney, Chris Gowen, even told me: This case is hardly newsworthy.
But before the show started, Imrans wife, Hina Alvi Awan, entered the courtroom. She had flown away to Pakistan with their children soon after the investigation became known.
Was she back as part of a plea deal?

If a republican or conservative were to jaywalk, the media would back the courtroom.
This case is disturbing. It's far more disturbing that Hillary hiding her email server.
No press? honestly????????
There’s a great way to MAKE this newsworthy. ARREST people, file charges, announce a federal investigation, raid peoples’ homes and offices...
Think twice before using “Press” and any form of the word “honest” in the same sentence. How many times must this lesson be repeated? :)
Trust no one.
Folks need to click on the fox link so they can register the level of interest in this story.
I really don’t like having to read 20 paragraphs of rehashed old news before getting to the actual story.

When is DWS going to be charged for concealing evidence (the laptop)???
I clicked on it. All I can get is webpage unavailable .
The press is corrupt - they work for the Democrat Party - as unpaid fools. Amazing that they would give up their credibility - considering that that’s ALL they have to sell...
Occam’s Razor Answer: The Republicans know this jamoke has all of the dirt on them as well.
How can he not? After all both Rs and Ds sit on the committees and he had total access to the Ds email accounts and servers. The Rs may not know *what* he has but they do not feel like putting it to the test.
As we are now learning, the NYT has been sitting on the Weinstein sex abuse scandal for at least 13 years having killed an expose by Sharon Waxman in 2004. So who could possibly doubt that the media and the Swamp have know about Awan and Co. for a long time and have kept it covered-up?
The links in the thread post are working for me. Goes right to the story.
Our government has many, many traitors and pother subversives in it. No surprise here.
It’s not like there’s a sitting Senator on trail for criminal charges. THAT kind of thing, we’ll they’d surely not give that short shrift.
It’s bad! It’s really really bad! It’s shocking!
But no legal case will ever be made against anyone higher than the Awans, and even that is a stretch.
Will it be a 3 part mini series ,Oh wait they own Hollywood
If it was a conservative issue they would pay protesters to march around and cause a disturbance in court so it made headlines.
But since it an insider DNC problem little is being shared.
This may be the “smoking gun” that unravels all yet I feel that the GOP is as staunch to bury it all as the demRats.Rule of law is on life support. Calling AG Sessions...........!
