Losing houses
Thinking of you.
I’m within 5 miles of the main fire but unless the wind changes we should be okay. Traffic was very heavy because evacuees were routed through here. If traffic and the smell of smoke are all I have to deal with I’ll call it a win.
Hey, best of luck to you Pelham.
I’ll be thinking about you.
I grew up in Anaheim, my thoughts are with you.
>The bizarre extreme to which the 1st Amendment is interpreted is a problem.<
.
I agree.
So far we are faring better than during the 2008 Freeway Complex Fire that started burning in the same area. The wind that time brought a lot of ash our way and we had to constantly watch for embers. This time the wind is blowing the smoke to our south... which is probably why the fire spread to Orange Park Acres.
The main positive is that we haven’t had much wind around here despite this being a Santa Ana.
I love hidden canyon. Sad.
The flames took the whole hill behind AH Elem. there was a cross up there and somehow it made it through the fire.
Get some shea butter. Natural shea butter. Not commercial lotions full of crap with one ingredient shea butter, but a little jar of 100% shea butter. It will help a lot.
We are two hours to the west and yet here we saw the smoke covering the sky and turning it all orange at sunset.
Those three only work together when people peaceably assemble, which is not ANTIFA's objective.

“California State Government is all over it!”
Wrong. Orange County, Anaheim city, Orange City, Riverside County, several other nearby cities on a shared resources arrangements.
Robber’s Roost is on that hill. A high point where a bandit could survey the countryside and either pick a victim or spot the law.
LAFD and Cal Fire have units here as well. All hands on deck.
Amazing photos. On the AH Buzz a couple of people have lost their homes, so sad. Worse in NoCal. People have died.
What brought the tears to my eyes is that the Zoo and horse stables burnt down at Irvine Regional, but heroes saved every animal in there. Lots of people have found and saved other people’s dogs - who were left at home because of course the fire happened when the owners were st work. So they grabbed their neighbors or strangers’ dogs and evac’ed with them. Now posting on the Facebook groups that these dogs are safe. Also posted are photos of horses that were saved by others. People are very kind sometimes. I’d rather think of these people than Weinstein.
Thanks for the well wishes. I’m back home and I’m OK. I live in east Orange. There was apparently a fire in Orange Park Acres. The smoke was intense.
Good Pelham.
Hope things continue on that way. Best wishes to you.
If the demand went down, they’d stop building that way.
I spent a few years trying most everything. Then one day I ran into this.
Folks, this is the most amazing stuff I've found. I have probably tried between ten and twenty products.
I get big cracks. I have chips of skin dislodge from my heel area. I have places that get raw on my toes and the ball of my foot. Skin doesn't just crack in the thick skin areas, it also cracks on the bottom of my toes.
No matter the problem, I can put one to three applications of this on the area, and the problem is healed.
Many times I just put one application on. Once in a while two, and hardly every three.
It is thick, and sinks in deep. After it's on for a few moments, it seems to adhere to the foot and not rub off a lot. It may more than I notice, but it's pretty good about that. A little dab will do ya. I put a bit on my finger and rub it around. It spreads out well.
I highly recommend this. I will say, if what you have is working, I'd stick with it. Try this if you like. I would want you to know it's out there.
