Thursday’s New York Times bombshell, which has effectively ended Oscar-winning producer and Democrat super-donor Harvey Weinstein’s career, contains two equally disturbing pieces of news, only one of which the national media will report and explore.
The first, of course, involves three decades of sexual misconduct allegations against Weinstein, who has released a broad statement accepting “responsibility” for his behavior coupled with the claim that the Times got some things wrong.
The second bombshell, the one our national media is already sweeping under the rug, is that for twenty-plus years, many in Hollywood believed Weinstein was abusing his power to procure, harass, and manipulate young women, and no one said anything — not even the powerful.
The Times’ story opens with an allegation from former-movie star and strident leftwing feminist Ashley Judd:

She probably, did a couple of focus groups with her fellow elites, and they said Weinstein is going down big time.
Also, the magical left wing mediots are and will be running away from this left wing elite scumbag rapist!
Maybe she was told her mama was going to represent one of the accusers.

I think you are right....my bet is rape when casting a movie and that there is about as many ready to come forward with allegations as Cosby. Weinstein did not invent the casting couch but he did perfect its use over the years with quite a few young starlets hoping to get parts in movies he produced.
It was even more personal. He was making her book into a movie before the allegations came up. If the conflict of interest didn’t drive her away, the knowledge that he can no longer deliver probably did!

In April, Weinstein optioned her book “Suspicion Nation: The Inside Story of the Trayvon Martin Injustice and Why We Continue to Repeat It” as part of its plan for a six-part Trayvon Martin docuseries. It’ll be co-executive produced with Jay-Z.
“Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story” is set to debut in 2018 on the Paramount Network, which is the new rebrand for Spike TV. It’ll tell the story of a Florida teen who shot and killed by a neighborhood watch member George Zimmerman.
The series will be based on the books by Bloom and “Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin” by Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.

Just noting, attorneys will tell us, that everyone deserves legal representation in a court of law, or legal proceedings.
Attorneys tell us they don’t necessarily pass judgement on whatever their clients are involved in, but rather, focus on giving them that legal representation.
So, it probably does indicate something is up, if Gloria Allred’s daughter is abandoning her client.
