Not leaning one way or another personally, but thought the point about ISIS possibly knowing there would be no other motive to be found was interesting.

ISIS' credibility would have suffered an blow if the claim had been immediately debunked. And I would think their credibility is already at an all time low right now because of their loss of Raqqa.

Credibility is important for ISIS both for recruiting and fund raising.

5 days after Vegas slaughter, only ISIS offers a narrative

Nature abhors a vacuum.

Sounds like he was radicalized. ISIS or Anifa. Take your pick.

Maybe they “lucked out” in that no other motive was found.

Usually though, there would be some type of communication tying him to someone associated with ISIS. I half believe it is them then the other half I think it’s ISIS PSYOP.

“How would ISIS have known that U.S. investigators wouldn’t find a different motive that would debunk their claim?”

I don't think much of this. ISIS took credit. Perhaps they had a real connection. Perhaps it's propaganda for recruiting, and they know that their target audience won't be swayed by contrary evidence when that comes out. We need more information to know what happened, but ISIS worrying about being proven to have lied is not a likely concern if they were not connected.

Does anyone here actually believe ISIS’s bluster? They had nothing to do with it, they’re just trying to appear more relevant than they actually are.

Paddock is clearly different and his actions raise so many questions. He clearly is very intelligent and not insane in the simplistic narrative of public shooters. He became wealthy not only through real estate, which is difficult, but supposedly by professional gambling, which is nearly impossible.

I’ve read interviews with pyromaniacs. They have this burning fire inside and they want to leave it someplace. The Vegas shooter would lie in bed and moan. That’s a lot of pain. I’m guessing he wanted to create as much pain in others as possible and thus get relief. He had a grandiose personality; flying planes, gambling huge sums, and living large. Someone with a personality like that couldn’t just walk into a mall and start shooting. That would be so pedestrian. He’d want a huge venue with the opportunity to create pain in thousands of people.

We can only thank God that he wasn’t a billionaire, with the ability to fund groups demanding alphabet soup (LGBTQ, whatever) superiority and abortion on demand up to ten years post-delivery. (Incidentally, if abortions were available any time up to delivery what would be the problem with abortion after delivery? And, then, as the Overton window moves, anytime up to any other arbitrary age?)

The Overton Window.

Investigators are also examining his finances. IRS records show Paddock was a successful gambler, earning at least $5 million in 2015 from gambling and real estate deals.

Or a successful money launderer.

There's this.

He was a disturbed, loner, loser living in his head. A CPA who viewed himself as a god as his life was without God. He created a little money but was a failure at everything else in life; bought a wife, felt powerless, and went insane resenting reality as HE couldn't have been the problem to everything he saw. So he killed people he couldn't measure up to to feel powerful and blowing up the fuel tanks would have been even better for his ultimate moment, the cumulation of everything.

Isis was there to buy CIA provided guns, they seized the moment and used THEIR OWN OTHER ROOMS as well as the 32nd floor to take advantage of a good mass murder

Too much mayhem to try to get the guns out, but ... the murder was always the plan in an ISIS op anyway, why not here and now ?

One motive few are talking up, the left wing/ANTIFA extremist.

Personally, I still think he is just another hate filled lefty who watched too much CNN and PMSNBC.
And the trigger was him finding out he had a terminal illness or something along those lines.

Bongino subbed for Levin this weekend. Levin’s talkie on several stations I monitor here in flyover country was bumped after the first hour by college sports activities. Hockey on one, volley ball on another. But did pick him up on WLS am 890’s rebroadcast at 9pm.

I mention this for those who don’t have series sat radio and want to hear Mark sounding off.

At any rate all Bongino talked about was Bump stock.(To me that attachment sounds like it’s likely to jam and screw up targeting). While Bongino is certainly not a theologan he certainly could have been going over the ISIS claim and examine what is in the codex known as Sharia law which claims God authorizes and approves of terrorism. Why should Islam get a pass on this since they’re claiming their reasoning ?

As far as Tammerite goes, for Amonium Nitrate to be effective a precussion is needed.
