In a television interview broadcast on Irelands Late Late Show, former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, opened up on the unfolding of events on election night 2016.
Promoting her campaign memoir, What Happened, Clinton described the night and its aftermath as painful and so terrible.
I would have to go lie down because it was so excruciating, she joked to interviewer Ryan Tubridy in a candid conversation, filmed near her home in Chappaqua, New York.
I was in a state of shock. I had not prepared a concession speech, the former presidential candidate revealed, explaining that whilst expecting a close result, her campaign remained confident of victory up until early election night returns began to suggest otherwise.

Whilst discussing the inauguration of President Trump, asked if she wanted to scream, Clinton told RTÉ, Oh, I did. But that was a common occurrence in those days. You know, scream into the pillow when I saw what was happening.
I would have been disappointed and really unhappy if I had lost to a normal Republican. But to lose to someone who I believed profoundly was not ready for the job, was temperamentally unqualified for the job was such a burden.
I just thought, Ive let everybody down, Ive let my country down, Ive let the world down. How did this happen? Clinton recalled.

She let her country down? I wonder which one it is?
Her mental instability and narcissism make her unfit to be a leader of anything involving human beings.
Haven’t read this yet, but Crooked Hillary has that in common with Stephen Paddock.
This story makes me so happy.
Anybody else feel “let down?” I sure don’t. What makes her think that the country and the world feel “let down?”
Does she have any guns? Better keep an eye on her
for some reason, something tells me Huma is to blame...........
"Some people claim that there's a woman to blame,
But I know it's my own damn fault."
Gee, who knew Jimmy Buffett would be so prescient, in 1977?
I never get tired of hearing these stories. If I live to be 100, I will never see a better presidential election. Winning!
Did she bite it, too?
“I just thought, Ive let everybody down...”
You leftists think everybody agrees with you. No Cankles, you didn’t let everyone down, only the other swamp creatures.
Now that’s the type of steel-willed leader this country needs/ massive sarcasm
This is such a great video- I cant stop watching. Thank you for sharing.
Her account of election night is a lengthening series of lies. Thanks RightGeek.
Crowd: “Uh, that’s the tally for the people that _hate_ Trump, right? Am I reading that right? Blue means you like Hillary and red means you hate Trump. Right? Please say I’m right ”
Anyone who screams into their pillow because they haven’t been chosen as the most powerful leader in the world, has no business being the most powerful leader in the world.
Someone needs to seek professional help and treatment for the alcohol problem.
You got it. Seems like a Napoleon complex.
I don’t believe she SENT Podesta out to talk to the supporters. Her staff had a meeting and decided SOMEBODY has to go speak yet not admit defeat. Hillary was out of it, gone completely nuts, and had to be sedated. No one wanted to be the one because they knew, unfortunately, she would eventually wake up. At the meeting Bill Clinton was the first to speak. “Don’t look at me!” he exclaimed.
All the underlings said “Ain’t no way I’m gonna’ face that bitch in the morning. You get the big bucks, Podesta, so it’s your job.”
Proper grammar would be “Why am I not 50 points ahead?” Right? “I aren’t” is incorrect yet the smartest woman in the world can’t even speak no proper English.
