WASHINGTON — Marilou Danley, the woman investigators hoped would provide key details into the motive behind her boyfriend's deadly shooting attack, said she remembers exhibiting symptoms such as lying in bed and moaning, according to two former FBI officials who have been briefed on the matter.
"She said he would lie in bed, just moaning and screaming, 'Oh my God,'" one of the former officials said.
The other former official said Danley spoke about Paddock displaying "mental health symptoms."
Investigators believe Stephen Paddock may have been in physical or mental anguish, the sources said.
But so far the FBI has not identified a clear motive, said two FBI officials. And they do not believe Paddock's mental health had deteriorated to a point that would have triggered him to commit such an act.

As investigators reconstruct the life and recent activities of Paddock in a bid to work out a motive, details keep emerging that suggest the gunman's mental health had deteriorated on the months prior to the massacre.
Looks like this is what the Official Narrative will be, after the "he just snapped" version didn't sell.
I guess it was his "deteriorating mental health" that forced him to case large crowd venues in recent weeks from Lollapollooza to Beautiful Life Festival to Route 91 etc and gather together explosive materials like tannerite and ammonium nitrate and purchase web cams and eat meals for two people in his room.
Now he can lie in Hell moaning and screaming.
When there has been “moaning and screaming” in beds I have been on in my lifetime it was a wonderful experience!
