A poster here said he had seen a photo of the shooter post mortum. Said the guy shot himself (or had been shot) in the mouth. Yes, I too was expecting to see some big dark puddle of pooled blood. I did not see a head at all, just a pair of legs wearing pants.

Saw that as well. Probably blood from mouth, nose as he pulled trigger and it sent him backwards. Blood splatter around head, shoulders. Wound spurted jets of blood then settled into a oozed drips till empty.

Killed plenty of hogs and deer so I’ve noticed the pattern.

Had a loved one do this but to the temple with a Derringer.
