Photos have emerged of two of the 23 rifles found inside Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock's hotel room, which he used to rain down death on a crowd of 22,000 attending a music festival on Sunday.
The startling pictures, obtained by Boston 25, show two semi-automatic AR-15-style assault rifles.
One appears to have been modified with a 'bump stock' that would essentially render it fully automatic - allowing Paddock to unleash hundreds of rounds per minute.
The weapon also has a holographic sight and an over-sized magazine, meaning that the multi-millionaire shooter would have been able to fire in longer bursts than usual before reloading.
The other weapon pictured has branding showing it to be made by Daniel Defense, a Savannah, Georgia-based company which produces variants of the AR-15 rifle, which is based on the US Army's M16.
That weapon also has a bi-pod attached for stability and a telescopic lens for firing accuracy.
One of the rifles is seen next to a full magazine, dozens of spent bullets and a hammer - which the 64-year-old shooter allegedly used to shatter two windows in the room before starting his massacre.

Yes he was just spraying and it looks like only one rifle had a bumpfire stock. So much for full auto weapons.
We listened to that taxi drivers video a few times and we still say it sounds like an AK. He was shooting 30-50 rounds then a pause then repeat. So he was changing out mags.
Then we looked at the pic of the bullet hole a concert goer took which shows an obvious .30 cal hole in a metal wall.
This whole thing is stinky cheese.
I don't think those are bump-stocks. Maybe someone here has seen a bump-stock setup that looks like that, not sure.
Look at the photo in Post #4. Is the “19” card used to identify the firearm there?
He must have been the fastest reload in the west to pull off that rate of fire. He would have to had a stack of mags near a table to reload at any speed. Also, where did his do his training to do a fast mag load? I can but I was in the army spent a lot of time doing jam clearance and mag reloads with old worn out M-16’s. Lots of time in the desert showing by himself?
Depends how feisty the hotel wants to be with regard to fighting the inevitable lawsuit on behalf of the victims.
My guess is that MGM Resorts will quickly write a check in the amount necessary to settle. This is an incident that Las Vegas wants to “stay in Vegas” for as short a time as possible.
...Hillary Clinton’s Twitter message... claimed that the guns would have made no sound if the guy was using a silencer.
Liberal ignorance knows no bounds.
An AR15 firing is about 140db.
A suppressor will lower the DB about 30-35db.
That leaves the bang at a level comparable to a chain saw.
Of course, Hillary’s pronouncement has the weight of a pronouncement from God to the lunatic democrats
For a guy who didn’t know much about guns, the shooter seemed to know a lot about guns.
“variants of the AR-15 rifle, which is based on the US Army’s M16. “
These guys crack me up.
Exactly. But it’s the media, and they have to create a narrative that he was a cold-blooded sniper selectively killing people. Instead, the guy was a head case using hardware that actually made him less accurate.
I have a photo of the dead perp. Graphic.
Would I be banned for posting it?
What is being said about US Press? If we seem to only be able get the photos from the BRIT Press?
The pictures seem to be of three separate weapons, two with bipod and one with the EOTECH sights.
Don’t post it.
Can you link to it instead?
Where did you get it? Not sure about being banned...
400+ yards??
That’s what it looks like . . . I’m hearing five football fields. Nah!
Just link it with a warning.
I can’t tell from the spent brass, but an AR type rifle can shoot 6.8 Remington SPC ammo or .300 Blackout which is in the 30 caliber range.
